I just bought these old new stocks in Hong-Kong to be delivered. I have used the old V1 Tiamat since 2012 and now it is time for replacement. Those who complain, absolutely have no idea how to configure the headset.

So the microphone quality I was able to change it by going into open sound settings and then I actually go into device properties and then I go into additional device properties and then I go into the advanced tab and then I put down to all the way down to studio quality 24-bit 192,000 HZ and that fixed the quality of the mic most likely that will fixed everyone's quality of every single mic a lot of people are not aware that you can do this just like you can do with headphones where a lot of people just plug their headphones in and they don't go to the advanced tab in this it'll change quality and a lot of headphones you think suck good luck.

I have the version 1, realy good headphones, only one real big drawback, VERY BAD MIC.

I've had the version 1 for almost a decade. My head literally has those bumps from the headband permanently imprinted. Even if I'm on vacation and I don't wear them for weeks the bumps are still there. I'm looking forward to getting the version 2 since the cable on my old version 1 is busted.

I have a laptop with a single 3.5mm audio jack, but i defo wanna take advantage of the full true 7.1 surround sound. Is there any external amplifier or anything similar i can use. Also did anyone else notice a very muffled sound when using the ‘front’ drivers in stereo mode. Thanks
