i know this is a older vid but was wondering can you open and close the valves before getting in the car and turning the ignition on and what not?
@@MichaelMartinez-co1qk yes you can. I do this all the time to make sure it’s closed or if I want to record a cold start I open the valves. I’ll try to upload a video on it.

Honestly for a place like Oklahoma, this Camaro is perfect. The Dodge is way too heavy and handles awfully compared to the Camaro. With all of these awful roads a lighter car and more manageable car is 100% better, the reliability is just through the roof for the price as well. If you did a v6 Camaro to v6 penestar the Camaro wins night and day.
Im a camaro guy. The ss is no doubt faster with better interior. as somebody who has driving both i think the scat is more fun light to light. That low end torque of the 392 really shines.
Charger and challenger have become the choice of car for bum black people who co sign with their single mommy and then eventually get arrested for fleeing police thinking a 400 hp car is going to outrun police LOL! Its true just look up random state trooper chase videos and itll be black people driving chargers and they always end up getting rocked lol

Well let’s have an honest conversation that might hurt your feelings The 5.0, SS, and scat pack are built to compete with each other. However each are built for a specific purpose. Dodge is the only one that still makes a true muscle car. Just all power. But in a heavy body which makes them hard to win drag races and rolling starts but typically pull ahead in longer races. The 5.0 is a monster and a great track car but has less low end which makes them really good at rolling starts. The Camaro is a monster drag car and superior on the track (depending on model). The low end on that car makes it an animal on a strip and the handling is superior (most my reference is from the shows that compares these cars on a track with professional drivers). And this is coming from a guys that’s owned a 2012 2SS, 2016 2SS, and now a 2020 ZL1. I’m Chevy through and through. In all all these cars are bad ass and would be incredible to have and comes down to preference. None is the best at everything and we are all little fish in a big pond. Keep your faith and he will give you the clarity and tools to succeed. The only reason I don’t like the 1LE really just comes from creature comforts and all the non-power related features the 2SS and now my zl1 offers. Love the car regardless and good for you for being able to have and experience this car where most people in this world can’t even afford one! Edit: After watching the full vid I realized this is a 2SS and not the 1LE.

@@RalphieSS you’re a good dude. And the Camaro is and has always been my favorite sports car. The SS was always such a treat to have both the 2012 and 2016 and definitely a monster on the road. The 2020 ZL1 I have now is no different, just a blessing I am able to enjoy and share my positivity and positive experiences with everyone regardless of those who feed off the anger and entitlement. I always give credit where it’s due no matter what car or brand it is, and that’s how it should be on here!

I just got a Charger Scatpack 2023. I rather have the extra space. I’d trade it for a ZL1 though
To me it’s not loud enough with the valves open. Stock exhaust sounds a lot better with the valves opened and closed

Good honest vid. Lol, like your plate to try to throw the authorities off. Here in the NY Metro burbs Challengers are the Honda Civic of muscle/pony cars they're seemingly everywhere. You see about 10 of them to every Camaro you will see. I'm a fan of all 3 including the Mustang (though the new S650 Mustang twin iPad-like dash looks ridiculous in a naturally aspirated vehicle).. Of the 3 the sixth Gen Camaro on the Alpha platform and equipped with a V8 is a sports car with a muscle car engine.

@@BADBOYM109R I didn’t jump he just had a bad reaction time. I honked the first time and he honked the second time. We might run it back again so he can use launch control and maybe I’ll switch to E85. I was just on 91 octane
@@RalphieSS not saying you jumped you just got the jump as the better take off time. Think it would have been a good race if both took off at the same time. Launch control helps a lot when you leave with these heavy trucks.

Just got my 2019 2SS and I agree with all of this. I was really only cross shopping against the Mustang GT. Scats are too expensive for how cheap they feel and the Challenger and charger are the most commonly stollen cars in the US. I couldn't get past the bad interior, rough classis or the high insurance for theft. Pass 😅
They just stole my 2016 ss last Friday 🥲. Was found at a takeover in la but haven’t heard anything about it anymore smh

Mustang GT is better than both in my opinion. But I love all three 💪🏿 cars. Camaros does got the best looks, but the interior is kinda uncomfortable compared to the other 2.
@@freddyboss7 I like how small the Camaros interior is. It feels like a cockpit and compact. Mopar’s interiors are definitely made for plus size Americans lol. Mustangs are a bit in between
@@RalphieSSyeah facts. I’m 5’10” and felt kinda claustrophobic in the Camaro idk what it is. The Scat doesn’t have the best handling, and the Mustang is in between so it was perfect for me.

I highly recommend. I have catless long tube headers and a cop as a neighbor. After almost 10 months I’ve had 0 issues and 0 noise complaints

@ I got pulled over about a week ago and obviously I closed the valves. Cop didn’t mention anything about a modified exhaust and when I started it up he didn’t say anything either. 1000% highly recommended especially if you’re here in California. No other issues and exhaust is still working as new! Hopes this helps.
