I've seen a number of videos where Thargoids scan vessels and leave them alone. And I've seen videos where players drop resources that the Thargoids then collect. Of course, all these videos I'm seeing are from five years ago, so I don't know how the game has evolved since, but I've wondered about the idea of independent humans attempting to make trade and eventually vocal contact by understanding their type of linguistics, or creating an artificial form of linguistics via lights and sounds. This is probably the closest example I've seen to Thargoids and Humans developing a bond.

Has anyone ever tried to give a thargoid that is like this any thargoid items?
