This is a dirty song about sex. Why do people pretend it’s an innocent song with a religious message. It couldn’t be further from that.
You have a good point. I will admit that this is my least favorite version of Hallelujah and it centering around King David’s fall. My favorite version is “Christ’s Hallelujah” - the same melody but with beautiful words by Sheridan Swayt that make it a more religious song. I have another tutorial for that version.
