I thought that I could learn something from this bit. I decided to be totally attentive to my wife and spoke to her throughout the day so that when we finally got to bed she'd be all talked out and I could finally get some sleep. We talked long into the night, then when I started to nod off, she got angry at me for not wanting to carry the conversation on! We seriously can't win!
