I especially hope someone will look at the new Cambridge study about interferon gamma (IFN-Y) in Long Covid patients, and conduct the same study on ME/CFS patients. So many of us have been suffering and debilitated for DECADES. I have been barely hanging for almost 30 years, desperately hoping for a medical breakthrough. I keep trying to have new hope, but I don’t have much left in me. I was heading towards being a medical researcher myself before this happened to me. 😭💔

I've followed this organization almost from the inception, and don't really care anymore what they have to say. For myself, it's made no difference. I've begged to be a participant and never heard back. I'm tired of the videos, the articles, the guesses about what's responsible for long covid, because none of them offer any help. The initial validation - yes, Long Covid is real - felt good, but in the end, nothing has helped the crushing and unpredictable symptoms.

The main telltale symptom of long covid is exercise intolerance / post-exertional malaise. It's a waste of resources and incredibly cruel to do clinical trials on exercise with long covid, which will almost certainly worsen the symptoms of those who try it, possibly permanently.

Is the existing research from ME/CFS taken into consideration for "Exercise Intolerance and Fatigue"? Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation sounds like exercise, and in a lot of cases, exercise makes the symptoms worse.
