Project I.G.I.: I'm Going In (1) (2000) | Full Game Longplay | With Ending | Max Difficulty

This is truly a great game. I didn’t get to finish it when I was a kid, but now I’ve finally completed it, fulfilling a long-time dream. Was surprising at how similar the game's atmosphere is to Soldier of Fortune (which we also did a walkthrough here on the channel). I really enjoy these hardcore shooters where you can’t save during a level-it forces you to think more strategically as a player...

Max Payne was absolutely mind-blowing when it first came out. I remember 12-year-old me and my friends having "gunfights" in the classroom with imaginary slow-motion moves, all inspired by Max Payne. We had no idea how legendary this game would become. I hadn't played the first part in over 20 years, and revisiting it was such a joy, even though I had to jump through hoops to get it working. I missed out on this game when it first came out, and that was a mistake. The second Riddick game is a highly refined sequel in all aspects. The gameplay is significantly improved due to better progression, where there are no manual saves, and the player moves through checkpoints. Overall, the developers managed to enhance almost every aspect of the game. Enjoy watching and don't forget to hit ...

I vividly remember when Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay was released in the same year as Doom 3 and Half-Life 2. Despite the tough competition, it became my favorite of the big three. The game’s unique blend of stealth, combat, and narrative depth really stood out. Interestingly, the development team collaborated closely with Vin Diesel, who not only voiced Riddick but also had significant inp...

"Contra: Hard Corps" is hands down the best SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive game I've ever played. The sheer variety of bosses and mechanics is just mind-blowing. Don’t shoot your own helicopter!)
@@VadymDobrohurskyiActually it may lag and the game will crash. Happened to me twice xD But I love shooting invincible allies for some reason.
I am really confused. I swear I played an arma game except that I started playing as the enemy. At first, I deliver a red car with explosives and then an American invasion starts at night and I have to stop them. Except that I can't find this mission anywhere in this game.
That’s interesting. Do you remember which map it took place on? What year was it?
@@Max_Difficulty year is either 2008 or 2009 . I definitely don't remember the map, all I know is that it's a town by the sea and there's an airstrip east of it. And the American invasion I mentioned in the comment is from the north of that town from a hilltop. I am starting to believe it was a modded campaign since no one else remembers it except for me and my brother.
@@yousifm.f.m.s4572 and you're sure it was arma? I can't find anything like that, and the gpt 4 can't assist me as well...
@@Max_Difficulty I am certain it's arma. How can someone forget the floatzone mouse control 🤣.
@@yousifm.f.m.s4572 Here's an answer it gave me: The game you're describing sounds like "Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction" (2005). It’s an open-world, third-person shooter developed by Pandemic Studios and published by LucasArts. In the game, players take on the role of a mercenary hired in a fictional conflict set in North Korea, where they carry out various missions for different factions. One of the missions involves delivering a car rigged with explosives, which triggers a series of events. Eventually, an American invasion happens, and depending on the faction you're working for, you may find yourself trying to stop them or dealing with the aftermath of their intervention.
This is offline?
Yeah it's a single player campaign of the original Arma 2.
Arma 2 OA and Arma 3 please
yo my man will be done <3
just started the Arma 2 OA today, stay tuned :)
Idk why i rented this game played it for like an hr and never gave ut another chance. Thabks fornthe vid. Good game
Back in the day when it was released, I bought it and played it all day, almost finishing it, but didn't quite make it, then only returned to it 10 years later.
can we save miles in mission 4
actually u can save as many times as u want if you delete the save file from My Documents
Before I play this, how long does it tank for the tank to fill for Alyssa's death trap when trying to kill the final boss?
I belive it's around 80-90 seconds
Badlands was an absolute pain.
Dogs of War is even worse. On my first attempt it lagged out and nothing happened after I captured Lopotev. Had to re-capture all map in order to complete it.
Share your memories of the legendary Max Payne!
hi, I have the GOG version, how do I set the resolution to 1920x1080? only 1920x1200 works in the game menu, thanks
I used Sof Plus patch, you can find it on google. It makes the settings menu much more advanced. In the bottom of SoF Plus website, there is a donwnload section, pick a package appropriate for your case there. Extract the archive inside the SoF installation folder. Run the Windows Command script, it will generate an arhive like "sofplus-client-20140531-kb4571756", extract those files into the main folder with substituting the original ones. Now just launch the game with a better menu.
Nice❤
Thank you

Max difficulty = ruthless
I'd say it's a different game. But I understand what you mean. Still, I didn't want to invest too much time.
My game♦️
It's nice to see you beating Call of Pripyat! It's my favourite part of the trilogy. Hope you liked it too! May I ask which parts of this game did you like? I simply love this game's side quests. Like, a lot of major and minor characters have quests given by or connected to them which show more of their stories and personalities. Think of Tremor, Vano, Strider, Yar, Cardan, even Strelok. The main quest sometimes just steps back, pushed by these minor, but important quests. Have you felt the same? I highly recommend you watching or reading about or replaying the quests you've missed or haven't finished (Monolith survivors, for example, the result of which seems to be an important one for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2). I'm sure you'll like to complete them differently and see a different outcome in the ending. :) By the quest importance I mean the endings sequence. I see you've gathered some dead character slides (Zulu and Vano, to be specific), but kept Strelok and Kovalsky alive. And you've missed the whole "help scientists" part which lead to what most of the community sees as a bad ending. You could've met some interesting characters inside the scientific bunker, by the way. :) I'm not pushing you, of course. I just give some pieces of advice which may show you more parts of the game. Glad to see you like the classic trilogy! Looking forward to seeing you in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2! :)
I truly enjoy the game, but only when I explore it fully by myself, without using wikis or similar resources. Call of Pripyat (CoP) can be a bit clunky in terms of progression. For example, you don’t get any information about the helicopter on the wall in the first location unless you read it in the dialogues. I totally missed this, and it took me a long time to figure out by talking to every possible stalker (I completely cut out all those searches). Then, the second location starts with a helicopter in a minefield, and you have no option but to figure out where the mines are by saving, loading, and trying to find a route. In the third location, you find the Gauss Gun, and again, it’s all about reading the dialogues. I spent about an hour figuring out that I had to take it to the alcho guy, Cardan. However, you basically don’t need this weapon for anything, and the plot just continues. I probably enjoyed Shadow of Chernobyl (SoC) the most, giving it a score of 85/100. My second favorite is CoP, which I’d rate 83/100, and in third place is Clear Sky with a score of 82/100.
@@Max_Difficulty Of course, the game can be much more interesting when you know nothing about how to complete it. Maybe it's just I'm the person who can memorize the Wiki and still have the same emotions as if I haven't read anything there. :) And of course, I'm not pushing you to read the Wiki or anything like that! I don't say mine is the one and only correct playthrough. Just an advice about the plot lines you could've missed. About the minefield, though... There is a way to find a route. If I remember correctly, when you throw a bolt at the place where the mine is, a short 'click' can be heard. These clicks - specifically, their absence - can navigate you through the field without deaths. Yeah, the sort-of detective part with reading into dialogues can be tiring and slow the game down. The game tries to focus you on itself, but doesn't always manage to do this right. I remember how I got stuck on a Monolith survivors quest because I didn't know what I should do for the stalker clan to trust me and accept them. Had to do what I didn't want to do to gain their trust. With or without a Wiki in hand, we are in the same boat, I think. :) And the Gauss gun can be pretty useful during evacuation to take out Monolith snipers, if I remember my playthroughs correctly. To me, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series is the series of games where you can rush through the plot and enjoy it - and you can walk slowly, exploring every inch of the location, and get the same enjoyment. I've put CoP on the first place because it was the only game of the trilogy a walkthrough of which I haven't watched prior, and my experience was a fresh one. :) But if speaking about the games without associations, then I put CoP and SoC on the same place, with CS just behind them. No 10/10 though, as you can't turn a blind eye on bugs, graphics and small but known gameplay problems. But they can't stop a lot of players from enjoying these games, for sure. :)
@@MaryNika1220Wow! I suspected something like that, even though I tried throwing bolts there and didn’t hear the sound. Thanks! Regarding the snipers at the end, my SVD handled them perfectly. I also thought it would be funny to carry the Gauss weapon without ever shooting it. Weird walkthrough humor :)
Excellent video. Thank you for revisiting a beloved and forgotten game.
Thanks so much for positive vibes! I plan to complete all Arma one day here on this channel. But for now I've finished the Stalker series and revisiting some Sega Genesis games currently.
Did you encounter any strange bugs during this walkthrough? Was thinking of revisiting Arma 2 with the campaign, but some say it's buggy after the recent updates since 2014 or something (the last significant update to Arma 2 engine).
Overall, the game was fine, except for the last mission. On veteran difficulty, you only get one save, and the autosave might occur just before you lose the mission. However, you can go to the savegame folder, delete your save, and save again. Thanks to this bug, I managed to complete the last mission properly, and it took me the same amount of time as the rest of the game. In general, if you love Arma, this part is one of the most iconic, even with the bugs.
I've beaten not-modded Clear Sky twice, both on Novice difficulty (and there's no way I'm playing on higher difficulties - it was way too painful even like that). What I like about this game is the graphics, the new artifact-searching mechanic, the addition of the technicians and the detailed showcase of the stalker clans, their opinion about the Zone and how they live (the dialogs between Yar and Ashot on Freedom base - straight 10/10 :) ). What I don't like, though, is the fact the game pushes you forward when you decide to stay in one location and explore it. IDK if it really is like that, but it felt like it when I've played. And the weapon accuracy without modifications is the thing I want to forget :) As well as the finale starting with Limansk, which was really painful even on Novice - can't imagine the brutality on Master. And this part was really linear. The final locations have much more potential in them then what they were given in gameplay. You speeding up the running between important points was exactly what I wanted to do while playing :) I hope you're fast-clicking the dialogs to speed up the walkthrough and you're reading them off-screen 'cause there's a lot of info there, describing the plot :) I see you've tried the new artifact-search mechanic. Did you like it? Seems like you've turned the combat music off. I understand this decision - I did it on my first playthrough. But if it was turned on, you could've heard the soundtrack playing during the final battle with Strelok. It's the fitting soundtrack :) Glad to see you beat this game as well! Hope you'll like Call of Pripyat!
It tries to keep up the pace. Actually I did enjoy this aspect. I'm already playing the Call of Pripyat. Really looks like it's the most polished and advanced part.
@@Max_Difficulty Somehow, I was almost sure you would like the new method of looking for artifacts. It makes them more valuable to the player, as I see it :) A large part of the community thinks Call of Pripyat is the best part (the others think of Shadow of Chernobyl, not many mention Clear Sky as that). So do I, no doubt - Call of Pripyat is my favourite part to revisit :)
@@MaryNika1220 The Clear Sky is not even mentioned in the Call of Pripyat prologue. It feels like the devs wanted to say: "what happened in Clear Sky, stays in Clear Sky" :)
@@Max_Difficulty Mostly, it seems true :) But in Call of Pripyat, when you progress a little further, you will meet one character who, under specific circumstances, mentions the events of Clear Sky, so at least some things from this game are canonical :)
This was the most brutal game back then I have ever played.
Oh yeah! And that's why it was the best. Personally I enjoy SOF1 more, because it's more Quaky. But this one is a gem too!
It's the first time I see a full walkthrough where Wild Territory was visited before Agroprom. That's original! :) I love this game's (well, the entire trilogy's) atmosphere, sound design and the depiction of real locations like ChNPP and Pripyat. When I've been on a tour to Chornobyl Zone, I've had a feeling I've already been there - because I have, but inside a game. That was an interesting experience - and it sure is a compliment to the games. :) I hope you won't mind if I give you some notes on your walkthrough. You got one of the fake endings (the same one I got on my first playthrough, BTW). But it's the different, the real ending that will be talked about in one dialog at the end of Call of Pripyat and, I believe, is the one that happened before S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. I recommend reading about it or watching it or getting it. No pushing, though, just an advice! And also - you could have used the artifacts, they are useful during the playthrough. There are some that increase your stamina or get the radiation out of your body, for example. That's a nice walkthrough! Hope you'll like the rest of the trilogy!
Thanks for such a detailed review of my playthrough! I did use some artifacts in the middle of the game, but I didn't find them as useful as the energy drinks I bought from each stalker I met. The ones that decrease radiation probably would be useful in the endgame, but I left them in the Bar chest to take more ammo with me.
@@Max_Difficulty You're welcome! I totally understand your point. But at least some artifacts are really useful - there are ones that stop the bleeding or restore health, which, to me, is pretty good. The single Moonlight artifact allows you to run infinitely if you're not carrying too much. But I agree that the necessity to balance the artifact effects makes it difficult to make a good set. This system was reworked in the next games, and it became easier to combine artifacts into useful sets. :)
@@MaryNika1220 sounds promising as I will start the next part as soon as I’ll have the time + electricity combo :)
ahh yes, good times indeed
I LOOOOVED this game.
Wow sprites and graphics are insane. Never heard of this title
You should definitely try it then. The gameplay is crisp as well! And there is a Steam version of this.
This game was way ahead of it's time. I've honestly never seen another game like it.
Oh yes. A life changing experience. One of best games of all time.
I miss games like this that took actual risks to be different from the rest of the pack, for better or worse.
That's so true! We've seen all kinds of crazy experiments with games genres and gameplay back then, and now it seems like the most part are pretty same.
Such a great game. Why hasn’t this been remade yet?
Most people in the comments here want this so much! Hope some day it happens.
Juegazo, muy jodido
Indeed! A real gem.
I couldent get past stage 2 as a kid.
At least you are honest with that! Maybe you should try again now, just to close this gestalt :)
This and vector man were two of the hardest games I ever played on Sega
Will definitely fo the Vector Man on this channel too. Thanks for a recommendation.
I had this game on PC from a disk I got from a book fair with 5 other Genesis Games, (Sonic, Kid Chameleon, Columns, Shining FOrce and a motorcycle racing game.) This game was sooo hard back then, but I managed to finally beat it and breeze thru it, trying out new strategies to avoid damage, remember spawns and patterns and the best places to throw a paper plane. Good times.
Wow! What a talented kid you were. Good times, great memories. Thanks for sharing.
This game is still super sick. Sketch is my dream Smash Bros. character. I even thought out how his moves would work. Also still an awesome example of great game design because of how it puts you in situations that force you to learn, combine and use all your controls if you use your head.
Indeed! The game design is top notch. Modern examples of this level of game design in terms of enemies and situations for me is Doom (2016).
RoadKill !!
The best rat himself!
NICE FINGERNAILS DUDE!.
Not sure what you mean, but thanks :)
@@Max_Difficulty Its a dialogue Turner says!. Haha!.
@@FGC_Amu Haha! Nice I've already forgot xD
My only complaint with this game is that you never fully transform into hero Sketch. That would have been a badass finale.
There is a cheat code to do that though, as we discovered here in the comments :)
You can tell its an old game cause it has a blonde white dude as a protagonist and not a black lesbian.
Ah, the good old days when smoking on planes was permitted.
I recall reading a game magazine spread about this title, for some reason the standing image of it always seemed so grand and wondrous that no matter what the game was in reality would never live up to. Such is childhood wonder.
Oh, how I miss those gaming magazines. Imagining the gameplay from just the text and screenshots was truly magical. I even wrote articles for one of them.
The female warriors are terrified for your rat. You could have saved yourself a lot of grief by letting Roadkill loose
Yeah I missplayed a lot, probably would do a cleaner walkthrough with all the secrets one day.
Loved this game. It's just begging to either be remade or get a spiritual sequel.
There is a spiritual successor to the game called Unbound Saga. It has a little creepy style, but I might create a walkthrough for this channel.
Awesome game, but why the mistakes in the first five minutes. When you got Roadkill. Let him go in the room with the skeleton in the bottom right of the panel. He finds a secret item. Could have taken the heal bottle for the extra space. And just before you dropped and took damage on the fire barrels, use the switch then walk in the box. (Walking into the switch.) It will push the box away from the wall and you can drop it on the barrels to blow them up and not take damage.
Thanks for the advise! Will use that knowledge for the next walkthrough.
Wish they would remake this
Yeah a proper remake would be definitely nice!
I played this game as i child, it was really really difficult at that time. Never got past the first level :)
Hehe! Thanks for the honest comment. Most people claim they were much better gamers as kids than they actually were.
One of greatest SEGA games AND games of all time ever! True Iconic! The Masterpiece!
Indeed, it is! It stays with you for a lifetime because it is truly unique.
Hace como un mes lo pude terminar. Bastante difícil.
The most challenging aspect is having only one life, so losing health is always painful! Just like in real life xD
In my book this game is a 10/10. Everything is well executed graphic, music, control, gameplay, animation etc. I'm just amazed that the developer can fit all this content in a 16bit game.
Absolutely. I can't understand people who see it as just another Sega Genesis game. I've experienced many iconic games on the platform, but Comix Zone still stands out, even among the best.
I'd remember playing comic zone for a very long time ago as my family's came to visit
It was also cool to beat a new level and then tell the guys at school who hadn't reached it yet
