What were your time lapse settings on your camera?
Hi Jay, I think I have made (3) Night Sky Time Lapses with the Viltrox - With my Sony a7III I set the white balance 4500K and the ISO between 6400 - 8,000 depending on conditions and 1 to 1.6 second exposures, f stop 1.8 - My go to settings for my Sony 24mm G-master is f1.4 & ISO 6400 - 1 second exposures. In my movie making program (Vegas 19) I set each photo to last for 0.040 seconds, Normally my time lapses have between 3,000 and 5,000 photos.

Very cool video
Glad you enjoyed it
Preciosas observaciones.
What ... No orbs? No UAPs? No drone clusters? It's refreshing to see a NORMAL sky for a change!
Yeah, just the normal satellites and airplane's.
Trippy!?! 😂
Great video! I wonder where it is.
Pops is on a roll
Yeah - that happens a lot, sometimes just minor changes in lure retrieve speed is the difference in catching bass. I was working the same jig just a little bit faster than my dad, he was just letting it sit in one spot for a long time.
What are you catching them on ??
Hi Jakob, most of the bass were caught on "1/4 oz. - Z man Jigs" with the "Z man TRD craws", there was a good Jig bite about a month ago, the last few trips the bite has been much worse...we went out yesterday and I got Skunked - My dad is still catching some small bass on the Z man Ned rig.
Uhh what the heck is this? Planes can't do that lol. Did someone edit this or is this just one of the orbs doing their thing? I've never had mine ever try this but I'm sure Gimbal could. He actually morphed in planes out of thin air and those just flew off in a straight line. He mostly stays orb though. It hard to tell it's him when he planes
This is a Corp Duster (Air Plane) working at night...they are very common in the San Joaquin / Central valley of California, Next summer I will film more as people seem to be very interested in them.
Great video Daren! Looks like a nice day and nice fish! I’ve been subscribed mate and I’m loving the videos! I’ve gotta get out and make another video! Keep up the good work mate! 🤝🤝💪💪
Thank you, I'm working on a new fishing video and I'm trying to use some slow motion footage but it keeps crashing my computer... I think I figured out a solution, so hopefully a new video will be up tomorrow.
The Orion Nebula really stands out in your time lapse video. Well done.
Thanks
So, so awesome!!!

Which camera??
Lately my normal go to setup is 24mm 1.4 GM on my Sony a7III and for my new Sony a7RV I have been putting on the 17 - 28mm Tamron f2.8 with much longer shutter time to let the light in.
This is amazing
Nice 👍
Wow 😳.... Thank you for this ❤
My eyes are blessed ❤
What setting you use for the time lapse?
Hi annyms188, I usually start with an ISO 6400, 1 second exposure, and I use a fast lens (Sony GM 24mm f1.4) manually focused, I also change the white balance to color temp of 4500K, when I first started making time lapses I would leave the with balance on auto and I would get crazy color changes during the night - not good. If the initial setting do not look good I will go as high as ISO 10,000 or slow down the shutter to 3 seconds. *If you get a chance to go out and test with your camera, they say that the Northern Lights may be visible this weekend. Good Luck
I have a list of over 30 such sightings which I am now analyzing. Yours appears to be the distant, slowly moving wake from an aircraft, probably 20 miles away from the camera. I recommend doing astronomy along with a second wide-angle camera, recording sound and time-lapse video (to see distant navigation lights). That would provide definitive proof if an aircraft is the cause.
We need more videos 🙌🏽
Hi Danman, I'm working on more videos. keep watching (I heard from a few guys that there is a nice buck in the area that I go to... I have not seen him yet)
very nice
A natureza é tão bela, quando o ser humano e suas crias não tão pra atrapanha e acabar com ela, essa vida de animais silvestres e todo seu meio ambiente
Cool! FYI: If you mosey on over to nearby Point Delta (Haystack Rock), everybody will be flying lower and faster. If you're motivated enough, you can even climb to different perch points up on the rock for some awesome angles. Aircraft flying over Charlie are still transitioning out of the Sierras and doing clearing turns over Owen Lake before diving back down to serious low level flying by the time they get to Delta. ;)
Thanks, I follow several creators who film from Haystack Rock and they get great footage. I was very close the Haystack in early April but it was on the weekend so I did not stay, I went up to Bishop to see some the Native American pictograph sites. I hoping to make it back to Owens Valley before winter. Thanks for the Information
love the video. thought the daylight sunshine was amazing cool video capture device
I use to see stuff like this while working at night in the Arizona desert. Too damn hot to work in the day. But I saw way crazier stuff than this, to be honest. Craft that are impossibly high that cross from horizon to horizon in less than three seconds. Stars that move and even once a verified galaxy that trucked across the sky as if on wheel... The heavens are telling us something... "And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken."
Great video, what gear and settings please? I want to have a go but only have a phone, or old mirrorless camera.
Thanks, I use a Sony a7III for astrophotography, but I have a new Sony a7RV that I have been trying as well, I believe the key for good astrophotography is having access to dark skies (No light pollution) and a camera and fast lens that you can put into manual mode. The camera settings: Normally I start at ISO 6400 and 1 second exposures, take your white balance out of auto mode select a mode that you like. My astrophotography videos are usually made form 3,000 to 4,000 photos that are made into a 3 minute video in a movie maker program. With your camera Find a bright star and manually focus your lens on that star then do not touch the focus ring after that and all the stars in the sky will be sharp. It also helps to have a Fast lens, (a lens that captures lots of light) I have a wide angle Sony 24mm F1.4 Even better check out a youtuber named Michael Shainblum he makes excellent videos and he shows the step by step process. Good Luck.
nice video thanks for sharing

What happened to all the wild life you used to post, missed those days 😢
Trust me... I'm trying, I have been going out 3 to 4 days per week on average, I'm just not seeing much. This has happen before where either I just have bad timing or the animals have moved out of the area, hopefully the upcoming cooler weather of Fall will bring the animals back.
No more bucks
I have only seen one small buck in June, I believe he is a local deer, there is usually a some group of doe's who live in the area year round. I don't think the larger bucks like to hang out in the areas where I normally do my photography. Its too open with not enough cover...when I do see them they are usually chasing doe's later in the year (November & December). One good sign is the Oak trees have lots of Acorns this year so hopefully that will bring them to the areas where I do my photography. Keep watching if I see some nice bucks I will make new videos.

That is incredible!! What camera are you using?? I would love to capture this kind of sky lapse....I try with p1000 and dji osmo action....
Hi and Thank you, I have (2) Sony Mirrorless cameras, an old A7III and a new A7RV, the old A7III has 24 MP with is better for low light conditions, well better than my new 61 MP A7RV. I have been using both cameras a lot, but this video was filmed with the A7III with a 24mm f1.4 lens and I was at 8200 ft. in elevation and in very dark skies which helps a lot. The photo's are straight out of the camera no processing.
😎😎 We Caught a few up there 8-24 . Had one hit on topwater in the morning before the wind got crazy. I think after this next heatwave the top water will be on fire! 🔥 ✌️🤟🤙
Right on, last week I caught several bass on top water in the evening. Yesterday we went up and the bite was totally different... it was really tough. I got skunked, not even on bite and my dad caught one small bass on a ned rig. They stopped releasing the water maybe that has the bass a little messed up.
Set your alarm for 4:30am tomorrow! 4:59 am, 19 Aug 2024 Starlink-184 (G8-3), DIM (4.1) for 2 mins Look from SOUTH to EAST (details) Elevation (from horizon): start: 20°, max: 23, end: 1O
Star link? I’ve seen some crazy things flying by recently, too!
I Saw sum this morning at 5am! Flying east to west in northern sky.
I think they are Satellites that are being illuminated by the recent Solar Storms. I normally see lots of Satellites just after sunset, but I'm seeing these things around midnight and only during the recent Solar Storm events. FYI - I heard they we maybe having another large Solar storm soon.
How many hours did you record to picked up all of that meteors?
If I remember correctly this time lapse was recorded over a 3 to 4 hour period, I cant remember but I'm guessing around 5,000 individual photos of the night sky condensed into a (3) minute video. Most of the satellites that you see going across the sky are not visible to eye sight because they are moving so slowly... they just look like stars, the Time lapse shows the movement of them.
@@darengregory1844 🤩 this is so COOL!! THX
Is that real!!?
Yes its real...If you have clear dark sky's in your area (No light pollution) get a camera and learn to do time lapses - you will be amazed, I have been doing these for five or six years now and it never gets old. I have no idea what I captured until I make the video.
So many lovely photos! Excellent work! Greetings from a Swedish youtuber! 🇸🇪
