Finding My Way With PIE

Finding My Way With Purpose, Intention, and Emotion (PIE) - an experiment in personal growth seeking the art of living well through daily video diaries where I curiously examine my emotions and how to intentionally live with them. Every single human being, no matter who you are, is subject to folly, emotions, setbacks, successes… ups and downs on this journey of life. Often we’re too busy to stop and think about our emotions and we bury them. Our emotions define the stories we tell ourselves, subconsciously inform how we make decisions, and impact how we experience our lives. We seek happiness, and from the outside-in it appears we should be happy. But we don’t feel that way inside. Why is that? I believe that we need to find a way to process our emotions, be curious about them, discover them, and experience them so we can be aware of ourselves in a way that elevates our experience of our lives, provides some wisdom, and might just help us find our purpose. @@sarayoung7583 you’re totally right! That would not have been okay. I did not block her, she wasn’t trying to go around. If she was I definitely would have let her pass. My move was more like a “hey, maybe you’re mindlessly all over my tail without realizing” so was hoping to get her attention. I guess it got her attention huh. 😵💫 My lesson: don’t engage. If I’m going the speed limit and there are cars in front of me, just stay steady if someone is all over my tail. It’s on them, not me. Also, I get it this is a touchy topic! I understand traffic is a trigger for so many people (myself included). I can only work on myself, so I will work to be more forgiving.
you are a traveller. not that far, within your own country. but you left home... and going back is emotional sometimes. for me, it was foreign countries and i didnt go back for years. (so, a bit farther than you, perhaps, for different reasons). anyway, seriously, if you have some property, try gardening vegetables. the therapeutic benefits dwarf anything else you will pay for. it has changed my life. forget the trauma and heal in a way that benefits your stomach. it really is a beautiful thing.

That’s good you’re feeling all your emotions. You’re on the road to healing. I learned to give myself the desires of my heart which I couldn’t receive from family members. I accepted it is what it is.

I have learned there is strength in sharing and being vulnerable because at minimum others realize they are not alone.
