Here is what you didn't notice. This is now part of what I call: The East Rail Saga. [I have posted this on other creator's channels, but I'm editing with new info if I have it.] Here is what I picked up on:: • Rachel asks Dr. Grant what one might hear at a lecture of hers, and DG says that Cooper doesn't trigger nervous systems: "Parent might have sensed this at the beginning, but no one else after could" That's not normal at all. • Lady Raven/Dr. Grant in the SUV says: "And I know how else to deal with you". Lady Raven is being controlled by Dr. Grant. • Dr. Grant is never on the scene at any point during the movie: Dr. Grant picks up the cleaver and enters the kitchen. (I knew there was something bugging me the first time) She turns off the tea kettle and if you try to look at her hands, they're blurred enough, and when she turns and the focus is racked back to Rachel, we don't see Dr. Grant's hands and "Dr. Grant" says, "We'll get your kids back to you soon" THAT IS NOT DR. GRANT'S VOICE!! I think we as the audience can see her, but EVERYONE ELSE, is seeing whoever the agent is that's there, and was there the whole time. • GLASS Film Flashback: Joseph Dunn: (clairvoyance data) "We're gonna salt bae your ass. It's definitely going in the book." David Dunn: "What is that anyway??" Joseph: "It's an internet guy...he's a butcher who salts his meat in an elaborate way." (Cooper, OCD, Meticulous) David: (few lines later) "That's all he does is season meat??" • I know this one is going to sound crazy: I think Cooper is the kid from Unbreakable, not Kevin. "I was always getting punished." OR...hear me out... Cooper is Kevin's brother! Why? Remember Glass hypothesized that if he was on one end of the spectrum there had to someone on the other end. For example: Glass has a superior mental, but inferior physical, while Overseer has superior physical. • What we can see so far in respect to the power types: + Mental [Glass] (internal) -Intellect -Strategy -Master Manipulation [Dr. Grant] (external). -Constructs -Possession -Intellect + Physical [Overseer] (external) -Strength -Invulnerability -Psychometry + Emotional [The Horde/The Beast] (internal/external) -Strength -Resistance -Neurostimulation Why is he not with Overseer? It's driven by emotional energy that developed a superhuman level of adrenaline production and disposal. He over stimulates nervous systems to paralyze with fear. [The Butcher] (internal/external) -Charisma -Neuroparalysis -Tactile Probability Manipulation Why is HE not with Overseer? _It's driven by emotional energy same as Kevin but Cooper disables nervous systems and nullifies their fight or flight. He can manipulate probability through touch, contact, and proximity. Like an aura that allows him a path where he can naturally position himself at the right place, and right time. (The woman who happens to be lightheaded at the steps, The wallet that jus happens to be in the apron Cooper took with the special card he needed, knowing where the sugar was) • Remember when Glass said this? Do you know what the scariest thing is? To not know your place in this world, to not know why you're here. That's - that's just an awful feeling. I almost gave up hope. There were so many times I questioned myself...But I found you. So many sacrifices, just to find you. M. Night Shyamalan & Josh Hartnett TRAP interview: Night: "In fact, upon my research, evolutionarily, those people because in war or going to do stuff, they're very helpful. They were advantageous to a population" Josh: "I read a few books that you wouldn't have thought would be about sociopathy but clearly, were, like books of heroism and war and things like that. We tend to look at people that are archetypal heroes and think, like, Wow, they sacrifice anything to get their goals met. Well, that's not really good. You don't want to be around somebody who has no empathy." • Dialogue: Did you notice the conversation about slang? Then later, back stage, Lady Raven says "B-R-B"? Do you really think Shyamalan doesn't know how dated that is? My theory is that Dr. Grant is jumping into the conversations, and some of the synchronicity that Cooper is getting, DG is creating. The girls who were being assisted by the tour hands: Yes, big pop star, girls faint, but they seem to lead him to where he wants to be. Their appearances and placement in those scenes seems intentional. I haven't added Casey Cooke, or Lady Raven, but I believe they both have abilities (Emotional spectrum). I think Lady Raven's may lie in sound and (positive) influence, while Casey's is similar to Cooper's by being able to become invisible in a way and not influenced by manipulation powers. Bonus: Hailey's Mills (Dr. Grant) come on...PARENT TRAP. Lol There's probably more, but I need to review all the movies again. Let me know if you guys spotted anything else! • Random: I am watching Glass again and after they are brought to Ravenhill (RAVEN--HILL LADY RAVENNN!) We see a pan up from the desk to the monitors that the Psychiatrist is looking at...There are two black and white pictures with the same woman--it looks like. One of them is a woman (Her? Dr. Grant?) and two young boys that look like twins, but definitely brothers. And a homemade birthday card. Also, when Casey comes to see Kevin, she is first talking to Barry (iirc) but doesn't need to say Kevin's name to bring him out. It is made very clear that she can touch him and do it.

But it functions at the level of a horror movie. And, it's not just a generational thing. I am. 61 and missed a. lot of the references, but it still blew me away. The cheesy. 90 children's TV show the filmmaker created looked a lot like some of the cheesy 70s children shows that I watched as a child. And of course, they did look different when I watched them as an adult. Although not THAT different.

VERY Disappointing! - A movie plot is the central storyline that guides an audience through the film’s events and character developments. The sequence of actions, conflicts, and resolutions creates the narrative structure and propels the story forward, ultimately delivering a cohesive and engaging cinematic experience. This film experience highly lacked engaging relatability and realty. THE GOOD: The best plots, in any movie, are driven by characters making tough decisions to achieve a goal, all while overcoming obstacle after obstacle to get there.- There were 3 different plots and some sub-plots yet each plot was limited on storyline and just thrust on the audience, without build up. The boy and his struggle with his parents killed by indians was good and believable, other outstanding moments were, Luke Wilson played a wagon train forman, was believable and relatable. The scenery of Utah and Wyoming were nice and some of the indian character performances were deep and relatable- THE BAD: It was SO staged, every time there is someone talking to another person there are 6 to 14 people just standing behind them in chorus rows just SILENTLY STANDING, waiting extras. HELLO?!! Kevin, this is the wild west, people were busy from sun up to sun down WORKING - not standing around like cardboard cut outs.-BASICALLY EVERY SCENE - except the indian attacks - was not believable. Also, the scene where the girl had to identify her dead parents from the indian attack and walks along the wagon with every dead body, boots sticking out - having BRAND NEW STUDIO boots on was ridiculous!! - Kevin, audience can SEE this, so fire the costume designer, or update them in the dailies, most people in REALITY were poor in the Wild West, and did not have brand new clothes FROM THE STUDIO!! There are 3 different plots that dont intermingle, OK, but the character development and motivation was not developed so, the empathetic relation between audience and character was lacking, making you not care for anyone or their resolutions. THE UGLY: Anyway, its just another netflix serious - NOT a Major Motion Western, like "True Grit" , but Danny Huston, must have kissed Kevins ass, when they were together on Yellowstone, because he cant act in this. Sorry folks, I wanted a good Western too but I give it a boring C+ and I watched it 3x to make sure!

Some constructive criticism: Work on your narration. “There have been arguments back and forth on whether the film has aged well” should be: “There have been arguments back and forth *about* whether the film has aged well.” “Costner’s directorial career has been proven to be with some ups and downs” should be: “Costner’s directorial career has *had* some ups and downs.” “Costner himself has gone through failure in the film industry a few years times in a row” should be: “Costner has experienced failure in the film industry a few times.” I may seem strict, but errors like the above undercut your authority. This film is basically Costner 2.0 who is now a favorite among the self-described "good ole country folk" who are pulling the country into pieces because they are now in the MAGA cult. Everything about the Yellowstone plotline is about how rich white people are actually GOOD and on the side of preserving the environment (which they of course have to own first to preserve but) and in the show he kills those who disagree with him, makes himself into an anti-hero where the people who deify him don't get the "anti" part. So the same people who will carry him along through Horizon (such a shitty name too seriously you can tell an autocrat like Costner 2.0 said "this is what we'll call it and next question" without relying on people who would say it's weak). Look for Costner 3.0 to be basically a somewhat less snarly version of the current end-stage Clint Eastwood, who is on deathwatch and Costner is now the next in line for that fiefdom of American exceptionalism that demonizes Hollywood unless it's about revenge, fighter pilots, or rehashed tired westerns.

His jokes about slavery & race play are not only cringe worthy but damaging to black people as a whole and especially black gay people. His scene with Tyler is also cringey considering that if he's Tyler's friend, Jerrod should know he's not Tyler's type....he doesn't pass the brown paper bag test.

  • @uh_itsnerfornothin

I feel as if the interview with Tyler was Jerrod trying to leverage the bond between them. Jerrod has power over other people when bringing in his camera crew, and this interview was obviously something that should have been a private conversation. The answer to Jerrod's question was obviously to move on, he's intelligent enough to know that, but why use a camera crew to try and intimidate Tyler to give an answer?
