4:58 68 has round marker lights and round turn signals in the grille. 69 has rectangle marker _reflectors_ (a loophole that was closed for 70) and also rectangle turn signals in the grille.

That black Dodge truck is actually called the warlock, I have THAT SAME truck in 1/18 scale I bought many years ago.😊

Your diorama is superb, love it, the '73-'74 Plymouth Roadrunners are my favorites, no one really liked them, I had 7 of them!!! I have the promotional models, the production models, and the Autoworld 1:64 Diecast, they did a very great job on producing that car!!! The #42 cuda was driven by the great Mr. Suede Savage and team leader Dan Gurney drove the #48

The only negative to these is the dam hot wheels tampos ---------------- enough free advertising.

I just got a vintage racing Dan Gurney Cuda loose on ebay. It only had 2 small specs missing that I touched up with paint pretty easily. I also have the new set that is in this video. The vintage racing one has a brighter blue paint that has glitter in it while this one is darker with no glitter. There is also no trim painted on the vintage racing one. The #48 and #42 were a race team where the #48 was driven by Dan Gurney and the #42 was driven by "Swede Savage". I think Dan Gurney did run the #42 at some point which is where this car came from.

Like your diorama and the ford fits right in. I live in PA, and I see sites like that all the time, in rural areas. What materials did you use for the building? Did you just make it or did you have plans for it? Be safe and God Bless.

Love my Mopars! Great showing and info about the cars. I'll have to look at my legend Dan Gurney's #48 car to see about the flaw with the tampos. I never took notice to anything wrong with it, but I need to do a more thorough examination of it. I wish Mattel would make an actual Dodge ramp truck for the hauler like they did with the Chevy. The blue/white lace stripes on the hood look sweet. You are clearly "old school" for qualifying the whole 60's/70's lacing fad. Question: Do you know of any mfg. of 1:64 scale drag chutes?

Very cool. It look good without the bumper. The only thing I don't like about the step side it the bed did not get painted all the way. I'm thinking of striping the paint on mine and either painting it a different color or polishing it. Thank you for sharing.

From the arch forward to the grill that fender looks like it belongs on a 1970 Road Runner.

I once bought a Mustang from M2 machines and it was huge compared to the rest of the cars in my personal collection. I gave it to my kids to play with and I never bought another M2.

If you have one, try putting that next to one of their own Dodge A-100 vans, or even a Ford Econoline forward control van. I'd almost bet that this Dart is comically larger than them. I don't think you'd even be able to pair it up with one of their own transport trucks. I have a few of their Dodge 600 series trucks, a tractor/trailer, a ramp truck and a rollback, and the cars that shipped on those look great paired together. I don't know, I just don't see this Dart pairing up with much of anything without dwarfing it. Pretty car to be sure, damn pretty, but I think you're right about it probably better suited as a hanging display. I love it when they do cars with pov caps instead of the tired and boring S/S mags. One in particular that I have is a little darker than turquoise-ish '69 Barracuda with redline tires and pov caps on body colored four slot steel wheels. Another is a green '69 Road Runner Hemi. Same thing as the Barracuda.

Maybe you can get away with putting the oversized Dart Swinger in a bay on a lift in the Grand Spaulding Dodge diorama.

Kinda disappointing they left the roll bar holes in the bed with no roll bar. I thought mine was a defect but so far none of the pick m up truck variants have a bar.
