Been meaning to say, Congrats Nellum! Also... this is so legit. Hip Hop has four cornerstones: MCing (which I believe is much different than generic rapping), beatboxing/DJing, breakdancing, and graffiti... As an artist, I can relate to the deeply personal expression of who I am through what I create out of my heart. This stuff can get too deep with so many people egging you on to the point where there is no return. I've seen too many beefs play out during my childhood alone, especially as a lover of the Golden Era (and Nas). It was interesting to see how Nas's mom made him apologize to Jay... For Cole to do out of his own sensibility... he's repeatedly shown that he is true to himself. Hopefully drill rappers learn from this because they take it to another level. However, battle rappers don't seem to reach that point (from my limited perspective) because that's the name of the game... Boxers don't (usually) get out of the ring with a cocked hammer after a loss... Hip Hop was never about this in the beginning, but people wanted to emulate the Sopranos, Godfathers, Tony Montanas which fueled rap culture toward the fake gangsta persona.

I just saw your debate on Teacher Therapy and decided to check out your channel! Youre extremely well spoken and you made some awesome points that resonated with me as a Gen Z person and as an LGBTQ individual when it came to listening to students needing to be heard by teachers. I used to skip school constantly due to bullying from students for being LGBT and it caused a lot of issues so i, i didnt want to talk about it with the admin at my school due to fear of issues so i belive opening that line of communication with students is extremely important. Instead of a conversation about why i was skipping and in turn performing poorly i was punished with ISS and after school detention. Keep promoting that because it helps a lot of students that cant (or are scared to) speak up. Again, awesome interview and im excited to dig into your channel 😊
