how you guys nailed the last note is beyond me (I never could understand that thing that orchestra (but not necessarily band (and certainly not drum majors) conductors do with tempo, where they are uh, fluid, and not super super clear with the actual beats.

Didn't realize the two sets only play together in the second part. Also clear that the horns have not the easiest task in this work.

Question. How does this work? I would think most orchestras can't afford to hire two timpanists as I suspect pieces requiring two are rare. If I am right how do you get a second one? Borrow from anther orchestra? I am truly curious.

Obviously a mistake was made ... it was supposed to be a recording of the horn section (judging by the mic placement) and someone unknowingly knocked the camera and moved it to the tympani. LMAO!

I like the camera shook when the bass drum was hit It made it even more epic
