Thanks for this video!! I measured a 3 Ohm so I'm going to try to replace the part. The IRG4BC30WPBF is hard to get by, do you think the IGP15N60T could be a good replacement?
@@stinoway Did you try Ebay?
Hello😊 thank you so much for your awesome video. It helped me to diagnose my fault and fix it after ordering the new part. My machine is over 20 years old and still going strong and now again .❤
Oh no it just blew again. Can you maybe show me the switch mode power supply converter chip you were talking about and how to test it? Thank you
Where are you about ? I have the same prb need someone to change the Igbt for me please
Teşekkürler
My pleasure.
HI IGBT FAIL AGAIN AND AGAIN, WHAT SHALL I DO ? THANKS
Make sure the thin heat transfer sheet sits between the heat sink and the IGBT, the retaining clip needs to press the IGBT firmly to the heat sink. Also make sure there is no electrical connection between the heat sink and the IGBT. Check the motor, carbon brushes, check for short circuits on the commutator, between windings etc, measure current draw. If possible try a motor that is known to have no issues and make sure the reversing relays all operate as they should.
