Good job and vid. My Stinger 800 worm gear cover is missing when I got the boat. Seen your vid, I am more likely to fix it as engine only with 1000 hours on it. Very clean.

I just replaced the brakes on my Yamaha Drive. The price of a complete backplate (including the shoes) was only 30% more than the shoes alone. And it took a fraction of the time to replace.

Will it withstand the ice? I have seen a lot of very strong docks washed out in the Spring.

Great that you made a video for his problem. I searched for same solution. However you made an 8 minute video describing your frustration and telling us all the things not to look for and a 20second video describing the solution during which you chopped and changed through so many menus it was impossible to zero in to where you were. Then finally at the critical menu at 5min 35sec mark I couldn’t understand what you said to identify the menu we needed to find. However thanks for posting something; at least I know I have to find a menu in the active scanner that turns the frequency to 200khz under a menu that sounds like “peer prefsher.” That’s my job in the morning, frustratingly scrolling menus again until I find 200khz. Cheers.
