I don't like the style of your narration, BUT the video is very good. Thx!
thank you! any tips or advice to future videos?
@@aarquentv I am almost stunned, i.e. very positively surprised, with your question. It shows you as an adult and developed person who learnt, i.e., profited from her reading. That is a big thing. I can't point my finger at what I do not like in style, but I think that for the subject, the narration should have some more "rhythm," i.e., be some 15% faster and more intensive if you know what I mean. Your narration is more feminine, but this subject and some others probably demand more rhythm than music. Still, the content is fine, and your video is good and useful, and I was searching for something just like that! Thanks again! <3
Another correction: they wanted to be "Invincible Under the Sun" not "Invincible Under the Heavens". Great video!
I think that is the same thing, although your quote is more correct. Yes, great vid!
Because it's the cat's pajamas ?
Thanks
Why am I not surprised you wrote " japanese and oriental culture"? It's "Japan" and "all that other stuff". It's "The Master Race of the East" and "the unmentionables".
Because Vagabond is about a japanese swordsman, written by a japanese author. I wanted to say that those philosophies are not only prevalent in japan, but also in other oriental countries as well and not so much in the ocidental culture. Edit: later in the video I say that Taoism and Zen were originated in China
Small correction for future reference, it's Eiji YO-shikawa not Oshikawa
Is it still on hiatus?
Sadly, yes.
This manga is a spiritual journey
The game is not to hard ther is just bad builds
Game get so hard when I get to maps
The mighty algorithm landed me here and you seem very passionate in making this, so liked and subbed!
Thank you!
The lazy increase to all resistances in each act is the biggest problem for the campaign. Casual players don't want to grind for days just to be able to continue the story and enjoy the game. Casual players also make up the majority of the audience. So, make it more fun, or lose out on all that business.
Casual players can adapt or leave
It's really not that bad
my opinion which is just mine, Its really not that hard. There are some lazy mechanics, like the reduced resistance, but over all, having an issue killing a boss comes down to being able to regear and maybe restructure a build. This isn't Diablo 4, it takes a moment to plan the bosses. The trash mobs are all fast and fun to kill, the bosses take some skill. I'm really enjoying this.
what I worry the most is the replayability of poe2, being harder than poe1. but as the video says, they are different games and that's what is cool about it. I am also having a lot of fun with poe2 until now. let's see how things go in the future
The thing that makes Transformations cool is if they signify a change in the character and are properly set up we did not have this with god but god in itself had potential, it was not a transformation that Goku reached on his own and it frustrated him that he had to relly on others, this had story potential with Goku working towards achiving it with effort and mastering on its own but sadly that potential was wasted, It had the potential of being unique in the sense that Goku had the outcome first and had to recreate it but then came blue my most hated transformation, it came out of nowhere , it squandered any potential god had for the story and it was visually a step down, God was lean with less musles like Beerus himself not being build like a bodybuilder , blue was just super sayin but worse, no buildup, no character growth to achive it and it took us right back to super sayin looks but this time bubble gum flavored. Ultra Instinc again feels like they went back to god but gave it alot of foreshadowing and buildup with Whiz training leading up to it, and in the Manga Rochie being the one who triggered it by reminding Goku about all his teachers that all in one way or another teached him the basics of the form , it felt earned and connected to Gokus entire journey. It also feels like a form few other characters can reach due to it being a sort of ego death relying not on emotion which pretty much every other form was based on but the abscence and tranquillity of spirit, also the visuals slap and it becoming so much more iconic than blue and god is entirely justified because it was pretty much on the same level of build up as Super Sayin 1 with Goku and 2 with Gohan.
I hate the Super-Transformations. I mean, Goku und Vegeta are hitting SSJ Blue, but at the same Time, Tien and Krillin are fighting side on side. I mean.. Why even bother transforming at that point.
Goku is COOL
Something about transformations is also in how the power boost works. Take Original Frieza and Kenpachi. They were already super-powerful but they technically transform to become weaker. They are really releasing the transformations to regain that power. Most others with a temporary boost the power often comes from nowhere, though some like the Kaioken seems to more condense their current power like a form of turbocharger.
better than gt for me but too early to say better than super
That's a very good question, considering it's a medieval fantasy RPG and therefore an objectively bad game.
Just started a 1/2 ork barbarian run. Imma taking Karlach to Avernus! WAAAAGH!
Dos2 is the best just as good as bg3
I'm currently on one solo play run to get my honour run (without guides or barrel exploits), one run with a college friend halfworld away (yeah, that's why turn based is nice) helping him in his first run and one with a school friend that current live in another state. This game is so badass and incredible.
Because I need my monthly dose of Astariion's sass.
Cause this game is the GOAT, simple.
It's a good game but if I compare it to DOS2, it feels oddly empty. Which I found especially strange since both games are from the same company. Yet DOS2 has so much more content with really complex interconnections where you stumble across something and do something which in the end turns out to be related to a quest and you have already decided on a subset of possible outcomes by acting the way you did. The amount of quests (most of them optional, many of them hidden) is about 3x higher in DOS2 than in BG3. Especially Act 1 and Act 2 felt weirdly empty and underpopulated in BG3. Act 3 was way more interesting and pleasantly confusing, whereas Acts 1 and 2 were disappointingly linear. ^.^
Im playing this year because I finally upgraded my pc for mhrise.
I recently upgraded my PC too, now I can play in the best quality 😂 Act 3 made me suffer
@pedroIuís cool, i bought a hand me down off my friend, and soon a graphics card upgrade once i get the time, i got to the very start of act 3 but thats it, i've been exploring every possible outcome in 1 and 2 to see what story i prefer, what kind of gear and powers i want and how much exp i can get away with before i reach moonrise towers.
Cause the game is peak!
But real talk, it simulates the feeling of playing D&D quite well, sure it doesn't have infinite possibilities, but every choice I make in that game feels like it matters somehow, even if minimally. I don't think I'll play any game like Baldur's Gate 3 any time soon
I'm not, sorry. I played it twice and am probably not going to play it again. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is far, far superior to BG3 and thus I',, back to playing DOS2. If you haven't played DOS2, give it a try - it's from the same company but so much better.
I love DS2, the combat in that game is so fun! The only thing that kinda bothered me is that I felt like I had to play with a level map open to make sure I didn't stumble on the wrong neighborhood
neat, thanks for sharing this valuable information
DOS2 is more combat oriented. Bg3 you can beat with out much combat. and for DND actions you are allowed sneak and jump provides more combat options than straight up casting you abilities, i would say bg 3 is superior in combat interm of mechanic, (map design)(for rogues you can find beams to jump on and surprise your opponent.but for like a traditional RPG lover dos2 is so much fun trying to figure out builds
@@junshanluo14 - You can beat DOS2 with a few unskippable fights and sneak/steal your way outside of the mandatory fights. Although you cannot jump, Tactical Retreat allows for strategical placement, not to mention blocking your enemy's walk paths with debris and using teleport to bring them to you 1 by 1. You can do a lot of things in DOS when thinking a little outside of the box. Just whacking them is a possibility but not a good strategy for Honour mode. You can, for example, teleport Morrigan into the tower near her with all the nice poison on the ground. When you come back to this location later, just teleport her body out for safe looting - no fight, the poison did all the hard work. And stealth is fun in BG3 because the AI is still totally stupid about it. Oh - an arrow in my chest. But I see no one. Hm, best I remain where I am, not move an inch and definitely not search for where the arrow came from.
Sorry guys, I just realized there is a problem with the audio with some devices! We will fix that in the next videos
First off let me just say: Hey good video. But I'm going to play devils advocate over here. You gave some reasons why you like BG3 as your favorite game and how you prefer it's story telling due to it's nonlinear story telling. But the broad strokes are still linear and the choices at the key acts of the game are pretty well set. (Example: Do you save the day? Do the good thing? Do the bad thing? Or one of the couple other options?) It's not truely fluid like a DND game would be because there's no 3d rendering involved it's purely the imagination and creativity of the DM and the player participating. Many of the qualities you described in your video explaining why you liked BG3 are found in most RPG and Open World games, so I think it might be a good idea to narrow down exactly what it is about BG3 that you liked. I hope you don't take my comment the wrong way, I'm just trying to offer some feedback. :) All in all, good video, keep making them!
True, after a while playing the game you realize how the mechanics actually work and what you can or cannot do. Skyrim worked in a similar way, but playing and doing the quests in whatever order I wanted and feeling like I had the choice to change my own story (at least in the beginning) is what made me feel like I was really roleplaying. Everywhere you went there was something to discover that seemed like it would change the course of the story. All games will eventually fall in that same pit in the end, where you aren't totally free to do your own choices (at least if you want elaborate narratives and storylines), but it gave me the sense of freedom at the start that made me feel like that.
I would argue that you're being a bit unrealistic, especially regarding your examples in that first paragraph. Fact is that the vast vast majority of any decent d&d campaign have a basic story structure designed before the players ever set foot in it. What you're describing is literally just the crafting of a well-made story. There are specific things that have to go into that, and while some DMs do excel at near complete improv, the vast majority of DMs, especially the good ones, excel at improvisation within the confines of an overall, pre-planned story. I don't think it's necessarily fair to act like the norm in good d&d campaigns is limitless improvisation by the DM at the whims of the players. D&d is, at the end of the day, a collaborative storytelling game. Requiring the players buying in to that and working with the DM in the interest of creating fun and interesting story is kind of the core of the whole thing. D&D was never supposed to be a anything goes kind of thing. Outside of just the reality of not being about to program every potential permutation of every possible choice at any moment, I think there's nothing else that gets close to emulating the feel.
@@aarquentv Fair enough, I'm probably just not doing a good job explaining my thoughts. You can do quests in any order, but you still can't make Ulfric king of Skyrim until you join the stormcloaks and do each of the quests that lead to that. Even if midway through the quest chain you decide to go join the Dark brotherhood. So I guess there's probably a word for "Player-Quest-Flexibility-and-Priority". Or something. At the end of the day, hopefully you get what I'm saying.
@@JosweaC4L I see where you're coming from, and to add a point against myself I've only had one DND experience and it was pretty poor. So I'm not going to try to defend a position I guess I wasn't really qualified to talk on. My point was everything uses an outline of some fashion, or else you get a disconnected and chaotic story. That's why BG3 still uses 3 Acts in it's story telling. I would assume a good DM would guide the Players in a certain direction (with the rare exceptions being the super skilled impromptu DMs) but ultimately there's still a general idea of how the story will go in following some type of structure. ...I thought I'd seen enough DND stuff to be able to explain it within those terms, I guess not.
I will love to see Divinity Original Sin 3 battle system, but with story and character dialogue/animations of BG3.
The game has sold 15 million copies. Plus it's a huge game that has gotten content updates over time I think it's not surprising a lot of people are still playing it a year on.
Try Divinity: Original Sin 2 - also from Larian - and compare it. From my personal point of view DOS2 is highly superior to BG3 in almost every way.
@@haraldschuster3067 They need to make DOS3!
@@chika4275 - They had two follow ups in the make and cancelled those. I guess BG3 was the better money maker - yet BG3 seems oddly empty in content compared to DOS2. I would like a worthy follow-up on DOS2 as well.
@@haraldschuster3067 I tried it and had set my mind on loving it - only that didn't happen. I stopped playing DOS2 after about 40hrs. What didn't work for me are the characters. I just cannot get attached to tiny, vaguely recognizable pixels and static portraits. Especially if they seem so... unrealistic. And as I'm a character driven gamer, BG3 works for me way better.
stands even more now than ever

Nice Video.... Never heard of this anime... will give it a try. Thank You
Thank You for pointing out this hidden gem.... loved every moment of it
Till now, Jujutsu Kaisen seems to be another clone of Naruto. We have a protagonist that has a demon inside and a hidden talent for fights (a special snowflake 7_7) Megumi almost has the exact same behavior as Sasuke, and Nobara is just a cocky version of Sakura. The power system is non-existent, they just present a new superpower or a power-up that we haven't seen in action before, and BOOM there you have your plot twist, also, the beginning was weird by giving us a kinda emotional introduction to the grandpa, who eventually died just 10 minutes later, and the writers put the club aside, just to never be mention again, you know, that club where it supposes to be the place where Itadori could relax and get away from all his teenager problems. It's going to be a bad anime, I'm sure.
