This is truly a gift.. Verushka akka is that and will only be that which is A SPECIAL GIFT..that of a treasured gem in Naatyam to us. I cried upon hearing u V and seeing u... I want to feel your energy at a performance again.. I long and yearn for the transcendental vibration that passes from your being to mine,looking at you for the very first time when we met, when you were being introduced to our family,i would never forget that 'special' day, as i looked at you i knew in an instant we had a deep soul connection,having being exposed to dance at the age of 9,and having taken a few classes of some 3 odd years when a sudden auto immune debilitating illness at 12,which scared my life and entire world, leaving me shattered and incomplete til this very moment, therefore any opportunity of being associated with dance especially through Verushka will always be extra special and sacred to me. I awaited her performances with absolute bated breath. SHE, VERUSHKA is a treasured gift to us in South Africa as she brought this beautiful ancient art thats embedded in her soul to us. I have been extremely fortunate in my association with her, of which i hold close to my heart as its MY GIFT from our SUPREME LORD himself, and yes i am grateful and thankful to him for our special bond which i will treasure for many lifetimes. Thank u for always bringing tears to my eyes every time i watch you, Hearing u now, the exact same emotions was felt and the tears just welled again. My ONLY wish is that i get to see atleast 1 performance of yours again, i hope and pray to our merciful one to make this possible ONE FINE DAY..I will wait as patiently as i can for JUST THAT ONE DAY TO SEE YOU levitate off the ground and just let your SOUL DANCE.. as you always do.. @@rsmahadevano thank you to me at all akka,i will NEVER be able to thank you all for having made many sacrifices to bring such joys of dance into our midst. Im an ordinary being,that is not even worthy of gratitude from anyone of you as having just entered my 43rd birthday 2 days ago.. I awoke on Saturday and my first thought was wow, u actually made it through the horrific journey of JIA(RA) for 31 years. So again i thought of my age.. 43,and added the both and thought how nice it wouldve been if i was just 7..just so that i couldve completed my late dads wish for me which was that of being an accomplished dancer. That incompleteness remains in my soul akka. I live a daily nightmare of this incompleteness.So my only joys come from special souls such as our Smt. Verushka Pather,as her presentations were the closest i would get to this beaut...Naatyam.i am indeed very honored to have been invited to this special zoom session, however due to work commitments i was unable to log on at the time. But our MERCIFUL LORD always makes a plan and thankfully i got to watch it lastnight. Thank you Verushka, for the special invite to the web cast and a bigger thank you for sharing this special yt link with me.i havnt slept a wink since then as im on a 'high' upon watching it.
