Thank you for explaining details of the process! That is one of the biggest break brought in the music recording and reproduction for the listeners! I just bought my first MQA album from authorised studio and listening it on specialised hardware device that is capable to unfold full MQA range. Yes, I confirm there is incredible deepness and richness of the sound making listening experience joyful and pleasant and on completely other level compared to any other audio format. Please, continue what you are doing, you are the only one who was able to achieve something much better than anyone else. I am sure that Dolby mafia is trying to sink you behind the scenes with crazy money , but they will never have what you had. Please, stay afloat.

MQA eliminates what digital filters try to do, ringing and time smearing of the music. So much better than CD quality. Lossy? only loses the noise and time smearing.

If you actually care about your sound quality, then get speakers/headphones that support 24-bit, 192 kHz. If not, at least 96 kHz. Try to avoid Bluetooth unless it uses aptX. Don't listen to MQA files. FLAC files are the closest you can get to a WAV file, which are the files used when recording music. MQA quality is a moot point, but we can all agree that it changes music. It removes sound you "don't need." Comes down to preference, but FLAC files tend to be people's first choice for a reason

MQA is a trash lossy gimmick! Can’t wait until Tidal offers FLAC so we can finally have lossless high res audio on a good platform. Makes me sick to know my music is tainted with compression artifacts!

Hearing the sound the artist recorded can only be accomplished with a decoder that fully decodes the MQA signal independently, right?

MQA is a superb when it comes to music quality! Those, who see artifacts, noise and other garbage in the audible range just don't want to understand, that an MQA-enabled DAC is needed to restore the lossless process. But you can go on in your attempts in pretending to be wise men by playing MQA music files on non-MQA DACs.

One high-end audio review Peter Moncrieff (well known for he well-trained ears) said of MQA, "Such naïve listeners might well prefer the sound of MQA to other competing systems that reveal the truth about real sounds, so they might well erroneously pronounce MQA's sound to be superior precisely because of what is in fact MQA's gross distortion and reconstruction failure here, with all brief transient attacks." Also, just because two high-end audio magazine editors-in-chief highly endorsed MQA for its performance equating to pigs flying, does not mean the high-end audio sector believes any such nonsense. If anything, I suspect it implies that high-end audio "leaders" are complete sell outs. In my opinion.
