Great ski racers back then. Too much gate bashing going on in today’s race world. Like to see the racers of today to get on these skis from the 60’s!

I love seeing footage like this! I’ve never even heard of Red Mtn. before. What a great looking ski hill. I assume it’s still in operation (gonna go look it up) and I’m sure it’s considered a “local’s mountain” and not a “destination resort” if it is. But I’d travel from my home in the skiers paradise of Utah to check it out, that’s the kind of grassroots nutball skier I am!

Hi, I hope you’re well. I have researched your RUclips channel {Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre, Visitor Centre}. Your content is excellent but I have found many reasons why your RUclips channel is not growing appropriately and why your Subscribers, Views, Likes, and Comments are not increasing. Your video’s SEO score is very low, proper search engine optimization (SEO) can significantly impact ranking. Your channel and videos are not optimized for relevant keywords, they may not appear in search results or suggested videos. Also, your video is not being correctly promoted on other social media. If you can solve those problems correctly you will get lots of organic traffic and engagement day by day on your RUclips channel. Let's discuss how to grow your RUclips channel via E-mail or Zoom Meeting. Kind Regards, Riad Ahmed Faysal. Feel free to contact me: Email: hello.riad37@gmail.com WhatsApp/Telegram: +8801576553705

You skiers are really something... : All that clear cutting of trees and electricity usage for lifts and snowmaking in a climate crisis world ! The town of Rossland was built by the mining industry. Norwegian miners brought skiing to Rossland. And now the towns people that inherited paradise on the backs of generations of miners is anti-mining with a mayor that is doing everything he can to bankrupt West High Yield. A company exploring and working in the area for almost 20 years. ruclips.net/video/KtwqeQAqVPA/видео.htmlsi=mI3LB3O8rzKjZaaQ

I've only skied your mountain for a few days in the early 90s but it was an epic experience! There had been very little snow that year and I surfed north at the front edge of a blizzard. The first night saw about four feet of fresh powder. The local skiers basically took me in and showed me that incredible tough terrain. There were cliffs in the trees and one very steep run that I saw bare granite exposed as I took the first few turns. I will never forget the people, chest deep powder and that incredible terrain! It was the only resort where most of the locals were using alpine touring bindings because they hiked to their secret stashes.

Most the people are Karen’s. Very unwelcoming town sounds as if we’re trying to send you od pf a Cliff that’s typically what the welcome is. Rude obnoxious drunks is the Average Rosslanders that’s over 35.
