One is eternal salvation received by faith, plus nothing, and the other is verbally calling/confessing for Physical Deliverance in the Tribulation. God through Paul is referring to Joel 2:32, and Paul would understand the meaning and intent of calling or confessing, which is physical deliverance. Joel 2:32 (KJV), “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE DELIVERED: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be DELIVERANCE, as the Lord hath said, and in the REMNANT whom the Lord shall call." The remnant of ISRAEL is Physically saved by God in the tribulation, and the chapter is focused on ISRAEL; see Romans 10:1 (KJV), “Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for ISRAEL is, that they might be saved.” Calling and Confessing with your mouth are for physical rescue / deliverance of an eternally saved believer; in or not in the tribulation. Per a HUGE MULTITUDE of verses, being saved and born-again (righteousness), at all times through history for all people, is received by faith alone, plus NOTHING. Salvation is not received by "Giving your life to Jesus," or any other type of human effort. Titus 3:5 (KJV), “NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the WASHING OF REGENERATION, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.” Trusting on human effort, such as Giving your life to Jesus, means salvation has not been received. There is nothing a person can do to earn, qualify for, or deserve salvation. Eternal Salvation must be received as an UNDESERVED GIFT: Galatians 5:4 (KJV), “Christ is become of NO EFFECT unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (works); ye are fallen (separated) from grace (not saved). The UNDESERVED GIFT of Eternal salvation is a ONE-TIME Event, which is an Act of God when a person trusts ONLY on the payment for all sins made by Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) DEATH (includes the shedding of Lord Jesus’ blood), BURIAL, and RESURRECTION for salvation, with NO faith for salvation on any type of human effort, works, or claimed positive human qualities. Please be aware, works do not show that a person is saved. If you ask many people that are doing many works, WHY will God let you enter heaven if you die tomorrow? They will typically cite something they are doing: Praying, Repentance of Sins, Water Baptism, Confession, Calling, Good Deeds, Giving their Life to Jesus, etc. Any trust on ANY type of human effort for eternal salvation means No eternal salvation. Eternal salvation must be received as an UNDESERVED Gift trusting ONLY on Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) DEATH (includes the shedding of Lord Jesus’ blood), BURIAL, and RESURRECTION for salvation, with NO faith for salvation on any type of human effort, works, or claimed positive human qualities. Salvation is Not received by repenting of sins and/or giving your life to Jesus, or any other type of human effort. Faith without works is dead: James in not telling a believer that they MUST DO good works to prove saving faith. James said faith without works is dead. Dead means useless in regard to the work that a Christian should do; but is NOT required to do. James is speaking to Brethren, which are saved people. I wait everyday for your teachings. You have been such a blessing to me. I am old and have been to a lot of churches and had to be healed from their teachings. People who want to enslave and take advantage of their employees shouldn’t be CEOs. I worked at a pizza place for over eleven years. I held the sign and washed dishes in the winter. It was okay until they got deep dish pizza. At first, I was excited because I never tried it before. But then, I found out that all of the deep dish pans needed to be washed, rinsed, and sanitized. So the number of dishes increased from 180 to 300. I am now boycotting bread, cupcakes, deep dish pizza, and muffins because I feel sorry for the person washing dishes.

We will go into tribulation, there is no pre-trib rapture. Matthew 24:29, 30, Mark 13:26,27, tells us that we will be raptured at the last trump, not pre-trib and futher it won't be secret, everyone will see and it will be audible.

As God is not a man that He should lie and God the Father and Jesus are One, then it only stands to reason that Jesus cannot lie either as He stated in John 14:6 that He was and is the Truth and everything He ever said must come to pass and did and will.
