    😁😁😁This was kinda funny Slightly more controlled spirit store😂= Vinmonopolet, it is stated owned and everyone working there is a state employee. Restaurants like pizzerias or places where the age limit is 18+ can serve beer, real restaurants and bars with age limit 20+ can serve what ever is legal to sell in Norway. It's not really chewing tobacco it's called Snus, you can get it in the US too. Did you really see a lot of people smoking, hardy anyone under 50-60 smokes and just a few people of the older generations. It actually a dead giveaway that someone is a foreigner if the smoke. 20 cigarettes cost about 16USD and a packet of tobacco is about 33USD, cheap? 😂😂The trolls is just a joke. Who docent accept if you blow your nose, this has to be a misunderstanding. Any yeah we swear a lot, especially in the north... We actually have a lot of guns, mostly shotguns and rifles and they are used for hunting and not to people. That was so incredibly nice of you to tour the tourist around your city❤So great to hear you guys had a nice time here in Norway

    Nice video. I was an exchange student to Norway when I was a teen in the early 1980s and loved it. I was in a small town near Oslo, but visited Bergen on my next visit after college. It's certainly a beautiful country, with a very social culture. I'm from up the road from you between Harrisburg and Hershey. I'm Greek, now living in Bergen for a while.. The contrast between both countries is unimaginable. I own a restaurant in Athens and wanted to open one here, as well, but the alcohol rules and taxes on it, kind of make it hard. I brew my own beer and sell it in my restaurant, which isn't very popular here, and expensive. It's good that the country is trying to control the alcoholism among the population but it also brings some negative sides. People heavily drink at home, often illegal, bad quality, sometimes very questionable alcohol, simply because they can't easily afford the alcohol from the Vinmonopolet ... The name itself is scary. EDIT: And before people jump in and start shouting that Norwegians don't have problem buying expensive alcohol because of their high salaries and excellent quality of life.... well that is not true. A lot of Norwegians struggle just like everybody else.

      As a Norwegian also from Bergen, i have always said that Norway is never going to get a drinking culture with the strict laws. It's like a pressure to drink the most before going out paying 100+ kr for a 0,4 beer. It's a race against the clock to drink the most it seems. Remember back in the 90s when they had night open stores sometimes before xmas and stuff, the pubs also was allowed to be open all the night, you didn't get the taxi lines, the food lines, almost no fighting and people didn't come to town drunk. The pressure was off, it's strange that the politicians don't see this.

    The U.S. could be just like Norway if we got rid of 325 million people and made sure that the remaining 5 million were all white and Christian. They would all have to move to Alaska, so that the hours of darkness in the winter would be the same.

    By firearms per capita Norway is actually 17th in the world, with 28.8 per 100 citizen. But, the US has double the number of firearms per capita compared to 2nd place on the list, with 120.5 per 100 capita. So I would not say that we don't have firearms, it's just that the amount of firearms in the US is excessive. Also, firearms in Norway is regulated, you don't buy firearms for self defense, you buy firearms for hunting or sports shooting, and thus also need a special permit for a special use case and type of firearms, and you are required to be member of a hunting team or shooting club for some types of weapons. And you also need to take a course before you can hunt or buy many types of firearms.

    • @Anon54387
      @Anon54387 15 дней назад

      There's an idiom in the English language: No one made you king. You don't get to decide what excessive is. Hunting and sport are good, perfectly valid reasons for owning arms but are not the most important reasons. Self defense is the most important reason while the other two are enjoyable for people in those pursuits, but they aren't necessary except for those in live in remote parts of Alaska where the expense of food makes it necessary for many families to hunt. The rest of us have ready access to grocery stores.

    • @KjetilBalstad
      @KjetilBalstad 15 дней назад

      @@Anon54387 And you don't get to decide what I perceive as excessive. I know all the excuses you have, the so called need for self defense. So safe does these guns make you, that you are statistically more likely to die by firearms in the US than the middle east, Africa, Russia, in fact, just about every single nation in the world but Brazil. Your guns make you so safe that you have metal detectors in your schools, and children learn how to behave in case of a shooting incident. Yeah, safety, protection... But sure, it's not the guns that kills. Well, I guess you're statistically just a nation of shooters then... Maniacs... Would you really arm a nation of maniacs?

I feel good just a little tender in the knee and some numbness in the shin area. I'm anxious to put some weight on my leg and start walking, I've come this far and don't want any set back to my recovery. Your doctor has allowed you to put weight bearing and walking sooner then my doctor has said 6 six weeks non weight bearing. Guest everyone is different depending on age, physical ability, and degree of injury. My tip is icing, elevating, PT, daily strengthening exercises and whole lot of patience. Hi Phil I had the same surgery as you and I’d like to jump on your platform to give a little of my experience, as I am one week out in this part of my journey. I am 61 and in average shape. My injury came from wear and tear. Following surgery I stayed on top of the RICE protocol and pain medication for 3 full days. After that I have only used meds to help me get a full nights rest and still ice as much as I remember to do it. I still have some swelling, but the 4 cuts from the surgery are superficial. I have no bruising. I do have nerve pain in a small area of my calf. My surgeon says it’s not unusual and should go away in 2 weeks or so. I get around the house using a walker and hopping on one foot. My husband moves around the shower chair for me to use in the shower, in front of my sink and doing some of my PT exercises. I also borrowed a ramp to get in/out of he house and a foldable wheelchair to go on field trips. (I’m a retired teacher🤣) I have 3 more weeks of non-weight bearing or bending my knee below 90 degrees.

      @@matheussenna5941 Hi Matheus, I am somewhat back to being able to exercise ues. I am having issues with either arthritis/tendonitis or both my Dr, and Physical therapist isn't sure which one it is. I had my surgery in Sept of last year, and I have just finally gone back to work full-time. I have been dealing with a lot of pain in my knee. Again they don't know which issue is causing it right now. So this is what I learned after the surgery - I was non-weight barring for 6 weeks, with a leg brace full-time for that 6 weeks, I finally was allowed to do some lite walking with a cane, crutches, and walker for 2 weeks, then started PT at the end of Dec and have been going until 2 weeks ago, and I am trying to get another 8 sessions booked. If you are a runner chances are you will be fine, but you will most likely have arthritis in your knee, ask your Dr if he is going to clean it out or not. They used to do it, but they say they had issues years after. I have issues now, and I had my right one done 5 years ago where he cleaned it out, with no issues. I don't know if you have help or not, but I can tell you getting up and down, with a brace on is murder, as well going to the bathroom. My advice is to go to lowes or a home improvement store, and buy an Eye lag bolt and screw it into your ceiling, get a rope and some U-bolts for your hands, and make yourself a pull system so you can get yourself up out of bed, out of a relaxing chair and one for the bathroom as well. The drywall can be fixed. I had 5 other people with the same surgery all were done and gone 2-3 months ago. You might be able to start training in 2-3 months, but it really depends on if you have any arthritis/tendonitis issues. I can't walk up and down stairs, or downgrades worth a damn now, the DR. says it's going to take an entire year to recover.. I am mowing my lawn finally but something that took me an hour and 45 mins is not a 2 1/2-hour job. If you have any more questions ask, please

    Putting yourself in A Favorable situation where you think the game Is Rigged Just because you lost or by so much is Almost As bad Or Worse Than Leaving your Life up to a Coin toss . You wouldn't care ending other than Clean Game nobody got Hurt if You lived This way you would be unstoppable !!

      You know you cant just go from 0-100 with crutches to without. If your leg is not strong enough you have to keep the crutches until it is.

      6 weeks is non weight bearing with crutches. You need at least another two weeks for partial weight bearing till you walk without crutches.

      Hello! Are you back to your exercise rotines? I have a surgery scheduled for july and Im trying to find someone that has passed through all the recovery phase. I'm a runner and wanted to know when its possible to get back...

      @@matheussenna5941 I was on crutches for 6 weeks and then it took a couple of weeks to wean off the crutches. I went back to work at week 8, but i babied it for a while. I started walking short walks at about 9 weeks. And slowly built up. But my knee still bothered me on and off for 3 or 4 months from the day of surgery. I was an avid walker, but never a runner. I am also 62, 61 at the time of surgery. It has been almost exactly a year since my surgery. It really doesn't bother me much anymore. Every once in a while it will swell a little.
