I recently got this camera but none of my sd cards seem to be compatible with it…which sd card do you use?

Hey! :) I wanted to ask for a little advice because I have a problem. I have been looking for a good (cheap) camera for a long time and the model shown in the video looks fantastic, but for a "used" one prices start from as much as $180. However, I found a diffrent one, the Panasonic DMC-tz80 for $93! I'm really thinking about buying it for my first camera, I guess the photos won't be visually different, right? The tz70 was released in 2015 and the tz80 a year later in 2016. I just wanted to ask for advice on which of them is more profitable in terms of visuals because I love "soft looking" photos but I'm a complete novice and I don't know anything about cameras😅

Thank you for your video. I still have my TZ70 and despite having the TZ100 and various Micro4/3 cameras, the TZ70 still holds a special place in my kit, I think the price of second hand gear generally seems to have rocketed, like you say not a camera without flaws but for all that it's a remarkably capable little pocket carry, and in the right conditions can deliver some outstanding results.

Sadly mine suffered from the common problem of the lens assembly getting stuck and the only solution is to disassemble the camera.

I have owned MANY cameras of ALL different brands. I find Canon the easiest to use,but I REALLY like this one. It's a very fun camera to use. Sooo many interesting functions. And with big zoom ,and small size,it is Great. And the fact that it has a viewfinder tops it off,cuz lets face it LED screens are damn near useless in bright light. This camera is scarce as hens teeth. On Ebay even the broken ones are $100. I found mine for $160 in very nice shape,but usually they are around $200. Buy one,you won't be disappointed.

I think the black spots are caused by the noise reduction algorithm. In Lightroom, a similar effect can be achieved by applying a substantial amount of noise reduction and increasing the "Details" option to high levels.

Just for giggles I wonder what would happen if you ran some Topaz AI on it.

This camera doesn't have the ability to shoot photos (or video) in a raw uncompressed format. The camera does all processing internally which most likely includes some form of sharpening and noise reduction. The black lines or spots are artifacts from these processes that are typical when you are trying to remove noise but keep details that that are affected by the noise.
