Best tip for getting Trap glove; Lie about your brick count. If a troll, or someone who abuses one-shots joins your server and you have a high brick count, say a number way below what you have. That will trick them into thinking they won't get a big enough of a reaction if you kill them. This actually saved me when I got Trap.
