I am certainly trying to relax, but I also want to get stuff done I have been putting off. I finally bought paint and will be stating to tape off my downstairs. We have not liked this paint color since we bought our house in 2021. Better late than never I guess!!

I always deeply embarrass myself with comic characters and it’s not because I’m not interested, it’s because it’s such a big universe that I have no idea where to begin! I am hoping to see more non-animal fiber options out there. I’m hearing more chatter about it (I say that respectfully) so I’m hoping that will encourage more dyers to make the transition to include more choices that are allergy friendly.

Sometimes I feel like I just don't juggle it all well, but one of my students mothers is also teaching full time, had small children and going to school and she said it was so much harder than going to school full time so I am trying to give myself a little more credit than I have been.

Hi, that size of the stripes on the pattern will definitely be thicker on a hat compared to a blanket. The arrows must be a newer addition as the skein I have from several years ago does not have any on the band. Maybe there are is more recent review that includes information on that. I think when I started my blanket I may have pulled the yarn out to a new spot in the pattern and started my cast on (which does use up a bit of yarn but it's the one I am most familiar and comfortable with) there. This ensured that I was starting at a new strip and all the stripes would be matching in size according to what the pattern indicates. I know this is a lot but I hope this helps some.

I ran into the same issues. Unfortunately I was annoyed enough by the yarn that I have not purchased anymore and don’t plan to. It is a shame because all the color ways make such pretty patterns. I am sure you scarf is beautiful!

I just could not get it this time. I think I need to write it out row by row (row one rs, row 2 wr,….) for my own personal use. I seem to be getting confused by trying to follow one whole short row section in paragraph form. Maybe I’ll try again in the Spring. I hope you got yours figured out 🙂🙂

Hi Sunni so happy to see you again and love your hats and Sox and that blanket is going to be so soft and cuddly. I'm sure your a very busy mama with the usual things and now back to school I remember it all when I worked and had the 3 kids to get ready for school but someday you'll be like me and look back at it and think where did that time go anyway it's just like yesterday I was taking care of them and working and had no time to knit 😂 Enjoy it as it's gone in a flash but you'll have wonderful memories to look back on. I hope you dont frog that hat because if you didnt point out that small mistake I never would have known it was even there it's going to be pretty . I'm still crocheting blankets all sizes for babies and lap ones for people that sit in wheelchairs or just the chairs at home as it's getting cooler and it's nice to warm up the lap and legs when sitting . Have made some hats for my daycare grandbabies that my daughter runs and they love wearing them and cuddling in my blankets I've made for them. I'm keeping busy as I'm now healing from 3 surgeries in 3 months it's been a long road but I'll get healthy again soon I hope . 2 back surgeries one in June it got infected and had to have that redone in July and its healed and looking great. Then on August 29th had to get a pacemaker because my pulse was only 24 and ended up in the ER that's healing good to and seems to be doing its job. I'm ready to get better and get moving and enjoying life again and I'm starting to do that. I love watching your videos and cant wait for the next one to see how that blanket came out and to see more of your projects you made . Please take care and try not to stress about things just get done what you can and get your rest it's important to be happy and healthy for yourself and your family it's a lesson I learned way to late because I didnt do it and now I'm paying with my health issues it's just some friendly advice from someone that didnt take care of herself and is paying for it now . Life is to short and if I had a do over it would be so different . Love you and sending hugs to you and your family .❤ Maria
