Yes
In Ireland the Saler are considered a very easy calving, highly fertile and milky cow. They had a bad reputation for docility at first, but selective breeding has dealt with that. They tend to produce leggy type weanlings too, but later as 2 year olds this seems to give way to high slaughter weights. The balance between easy calving and slaughter weights is probably the best of all breeds.
