In this demo I am combining one PWM oscillator with the famous MS-20 filters that Behringer included in its K-2 MkII clone. The sound is sequenced by MS-1.

Here's my oscillator hard sync patch made on my K-2 Mk II which is an interestingly developed Korg MS-20 clone. Behringer has added the oscillator sync, FM and PWM features that make the sharp sounding synth sound even sharper !

This time I am playing the famous Jean Michel Jarre melody from his Randez-Vous album called Laser Harp. Originally an Elka Synthex was used, and as far as I know it was a factory sound. Just like on the Synthex I used 8-voice unison sound and the hardsync modulation of my Prophet 10 to recreate the sound by ear. I takes some time but I guess it was worth it...

Hello, this time I am playing the main riff of a famous 90's eurodance song - The Rhythm Of The Night in which vocalist Corona sang. The sounds is filtered by the double Voyager filter and decay envelopes to make it sound like a cklicky formant, and then when you tweak the spacing knob the filter morhs into the acid character.

Nice work, perhaps a bit too much on the high end, but it's YOUR sound. By the way, the Hydrasynth has an interesting preset patch, that is amazingly close to the original..

Those OBX8 sounds are really fat and dynamic. They were used in past synth pop electronic music - a sort of nostalgia...
This is an example of music where you can mix up several genres like dubstep, house, electronica, downtempo, synth wave and pop ! Well done Chris - SYNTHRATIX
