when I was young, I used to only suffer from C's or D's and I always blamed it on something else other than me, whether that would be blaming it on the environment or blaming it on other people. In high school I decided to actually stop blaming it on somebody else and just all my attention on learning. I remember learning the multiplication table, addition facts, subtraction facts, and learning the entirety pre-algebra again; simply put, I didn't know how to do any of those things. It took years to actually be in the position I am now. I don't consider myself to be smart as I still feel like I can improve -- However, looking back at me from two years ago. I think it's an improvement. I can also relate with the learning group that was for below-average students. I was in it too, they don't teach you anything.
