I threw this channel together to share scans that I do with the Gugusse Compact which is a DIY motion picture film scanner. It takes 8mm, Super 8, 9,5mm, 16mm, 23mm, and 35mm film and converts it to digital. You use a 3-D printer to make most of it and it's powered by a Raspberry Pi computer and a custom circuit board. Hopefully we'll have a bunch of fun videos to share as I get better using this amazing device.
Also, there has been a trend to ask me for requests. This makes no sense because I'm scanning films. I need to have the films to scan them. If you have a film I can put up here and you want it scanned, contact me via Facebook and we'll see what we can do.

Third trailer from 2012 so I think this is going to be a trend for a while. Pretty dark film if you ask me. I don't remember really liking it much but lots of special effects for sure. Enjoy!

I bought a reel of Trailers off eBay probably 6 months ago and finally got around to scanning it. They might all be from 2012. I also picked up 60 more since then. So we've got trailers!

Oh I remember this one, think I probably saw it too, don't remember anything outside this trailer though. But that's because I worked at a cinema, so tended to see everything going.
Disney made "teen comedies" ??? I remember Herbie Goes Bananas, Escape To Witch Mountain, and Bednobs and Broomstricks- those were my favorite. Never heard of this one, but it probably never made it to network television like the others.

Its so crazy isn't it?
You see, I always thought something that was so clever and timeless would be represented here, but instead, I just got an imitation that has no idea of what made the original good. You can play clips over this. That's the idea. It looks like the hero, has the details like the hero, but it's just a pale imitation of the hero. Ugly, unimaginative, not charming, and inspires no joy whatsoever.

It's a remake of Kurosawa's Yojimbo but set during Prohibition. It wasn't a bad movie. It was just one of those movies that didn't click with audiences.
I wasn't a fan of this cartoon having been a big Laurel and Hardy fan of the original duo.
Yeah - Me either. I actually have a HUGE collection of L&H films on 16mm. I've been collecting them since I was 12.
