what vst or soundfont do you use for these? i've really wanted to replicate the synths and stuff zun uses but i just can't with what i have currently, and also what daw do you use? i mostly use reaper but occasionally mess around in trackers like deflemask, renoise, and famitracker

Why is this 12 minutes long. Oh The mashup is pretty good. You made me completely forget about the original purposes of the event Anyways, returning to the actual submission... The song structure could be ripped from somewhere else, but nothing is jumping out at me after a cursory listen. I'm significantly less familiar with earlygame songs. This aggressive form of the WBaWC instrumentation is more common in fan songs than canon songs, right? From what I can remember, ZUN never goes that hard. So if this song does rip the structure from a specific song, then I'm suspecting it to be a fansong.
Congrats, you been fooled (happy actual april fools!) The song was originally gonna be longer, but due to not having enough time I did a bit of trimming to it, the other parts are just my previous "rips" that I tossed out. The theme is somewhat inspired from the intro of "Winds of Time" (the piano comming in, and the intro melody) and many other parts stinged together to create this "new" theme. But you know, this structure is quite simular to your generic tone, so thats basically the Joke..? Have a nice day~
