I was a baby when this game came out, but my brother was 11 and it absolutely shaped his childhood. He played it so many times and it meant so much to him. I have always enjoyed playing games with him or watching him play games, as a lot of younger siblings often do, but was never interested in rpgs. I moved away a few years ago, and that meant we couldn't have our weekly in-person gaming sessions with classic older games. So we decided to play this in it's entirety as our 'farewell' game - and I absolutely loved it. I have a lot of cool memories attached to it now, and this soundtrack takes me straight back whenever I miss him. They just don't make games like this anymore

Wow... this OST is incredibly timeless. It's really something special. A lot of love & passion was put into this. Thank you for compiling this all together. These tracks have a life of their own, the emotions they convey telling their own emotional story that is not only very moving, but very pleasant to listen to as well.

I honestly wonder why two such great games as BoF 3 and 4 were not a sales success. The plot may have been too serious for those times (especially 4), which we would appreciate more as older players (I'm 38 now, but I was around 17 when I played). Nevertheless, almost everything was perfect there. Even today, both games don't look bad, they have great graphics, stories, and characters.

This game changed my entire life. According to my records from when I was a child, I was diagnosed with possible autism, which caused my parents a lot of worry. They did everything they could, like providing me with comics, toys, and anything else that could serve as early intervention. I couldn’t even read until I was 10 years old. Then one day, my parents bought me this game. For some reason, I became addicted to it and asked my maid to help me read all the NPC dialogue. My maid would translate the words for me one by one (I’m not from an English-speaking country). One day, my mom came home and got angry because I was stuck in this game (since I had been playing from around 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.). She wanted to throw my PS1 away until my maid told my parents that I could read. They were so shocked, and from then on, my parents bought me all kinds of games related to this style, like The Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy. Now, I have a master’s degree in social studies. To be honest, this game isn’t just about "attack and defend"; it involves many puzzles, which actually improved the way I think. Best game ever.

You hear a specific song and remember everything. The place, activity, the overall theme, the boss, the casual fights, the dialogues, the plot twists and the story in general. Heck, even the tear emotes. This game was far ahead of it's time. I picked it by pure luck in a store, had not much money on me back then and was mesmerized by the cover.
