whiny feminist propaganda. just because theres an imbalance, doesn't mean that its someones fault. literally nobody complains if its a female dominated profession like nursing and nobody complains that there's not enough female representation among sewer workers because nobody wants to do that job. the reason why there's more male electricians and more female preschool teachers, for example, is because men and women tend to make different career choices on average.

At that time, it has to be done this way, but today, you have easier and more precise ways. is try this way: Thanks your fav big reverb, add a pre-delay on it, then that I at the end. Et voilà. All this is not only faster but more precise, as you can specify the exact pre-delay and gate time to the tempo.

This is honestly the best channel I've found for Logic Pro tips anywhere online and you explain everything beautifully. I'm not an aspiring producer or sound engineer, I'm a musician/songwriter. So mixing is something I try to avoid (because it kills my mood 😂) once I've written and recorded a song the last thing I wanna do is break it down into little bits and pieces and get all the levels right. I need to conserve my creative energy for playing live and stuff. But you make the process seem so creative and fun I'd actually like to give it a try. Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge with us all, you rock 🤘😝🤘

Turning down S's with automation is SO much better than using a de-esser, in my opinion. You have more control and it's more accurate. Also, it's completely transparent. I don't care how good your de-esser is, it will always dull your vocal somewhat. The whole process really doesn't take that long. I find I can go through all the vocals in a song in about 20 minutes. And that's not just for turning down the S's. I also use clip gain to turn down any loud sections and turn up quiet sections so I have a nice normalized vocal level BEFORE any compression. It's worth the time.
