West, the observer searches for sasquatch in his front yard.
Too bad this kid with such a long, historical, Florida lineage sounds more like some Yankee transplant than a Floridian Southerner!

Excellent !
It is nice to discover a passion at a young age. Work to develop your writing (story telling), videography, and editing every day. Then you will never work a day in your life because you will be doing what you love.
my great great great father hahaha lmao
I grew up on East Broadway and went swimming at Silver Springs every Sunday. I could walk to library, Bittings Drug Store, Woolworth's, and the Marion Theater. I got in with 6 RC bottle caps for the Saturday matinees/ Loved the strawberry Waffles at the Plantation Pancake In, went often to the Brahma and 1890 House, Morrison's after church, and the Lobster House for grouper fingers.
My great grandfather was a brick mason that helped lay down half of the bricks
Nice Video !
Awesome video cuz
Thanks. I moved to Ocala from LaBelle when I was 3. That was 1945. I went to Centeral Elem. 1st thru 5th, then Oakcrest Elem. 6 & 7, 8th street middle for the 8th & 9th, then OHS on Ft. King for 10-12. Graduated 1960. I was baptised in FBC in the church that burned down. I live now in New Braunfels, Tx. Thanks for the memories. Gene Lanzl.
I am showing your video to my UCF Elementary Ed. Social Studies class. Way to go, Grant!
I love living in the Historic District, it's so nice. I really liked your presentation.
You did a wonderful job on the history of Ocala, I am currently going to write a story about Ocala for a new news source in the area, called "The Pineapple Post", this paper will be offered for free and I would like to quote some of your information, if you do not mind. I grew up in Ocala from 1970 to 1999. Thanks again for the great presentation.
Great job, young man. I think I know where the original library is, if you're interested. It's not where the brand new library is, but its close.

Thanks for the memories......
Great job! Awesome presentation!
nice job ! !
best part of Ocala history...A Day To Remember.
@dutch1565 Ocala is well known as the horse capital of the world, one of only five cities (four in the USA and one in France) permitted under Chamber of Commerce guidelines to use this title based on annual revenue produced by the horse industry.
Great job on the history of Ocala. I have wonderful memories growing up there in the 1950's when we would cross 17th Street in our bare feet to feed oranges to the neighbor's cows. It's changed a lot now. The gentleman's farm across the street is now a Publix, and the house I grew up in is gone. But I can still ride through Ocala and tell my own kids what used to be here and what we used to do there. Thanks for the reminders.
Great video! We moved to Ocala in 2002 and we love it.
