Oh, Nintendo... allowing "would you like to try at an easier difficulty" option... and, then, it being allowed in speedruns (because it's built into the game). I guess that's Nintendo's fault. Crazy thing, is that, even with this option... the "speed run" is still at 9 hours. Kudos to Nintendo for making this great game bug free, so no glitches to exploit (unlike the new Zelda game). Thanks for the video and the speedrun!

I beat the game today and it's actually pretty good! But!.. I assume everybody watching this video has beat the game so... I think that the point from discovering reclusa (looking for the bonds) thill the actually fight with reclusa (all the time you spend follow him through the "mushroom kingdom") was a no needed filler, you could go from fighting zokette to preparing for the fight against reclusa and it could have been the peefect ending, but looking for the bonds was sooooooo boring.

2:46:55 dawg if I hadn’t ever played this game and tried easy mode I’d figure you a liar, easy means stupid easy. It’s insane how much damage is dealt in easy mode. Makes sense that easy mode is used in speed runs. Are there runs that prohibit easy mode?

this is extremly fun to watch :) I love this game and can't get enough! Thinking about speedrunning it too, but just for fun. I don't have any recording equipment. Thank you and I'm exited for future attempts!!

I had fun tuning into the last few hours or so. WR potential is on the horizon, I imagine more tech will be found for some major skips soon.
