I actually went through the same process, except I took a small, small screwdriver and lifted the bottom of it off and it came off with ease after a few little pics at the bottom of base Either way I found the way and I thank you for posting this tutorial because these products cost way too much money for me to be throwing my full bottle away.❤

I'm just saying why do they change their bottles in the first place??? There is absolutely nothing wrong with the old bottles you could actually reuse them! Duhhh...if the concept isn't broken why do you change it?

Does it destroy the cap tho? I’m trying to get mine into a smaller bottle for transport but keep the bigger one for at home use.

Try warming it with hair dryer first maybe the bottle top mold will soften enough to let it pull off without so much obvious damage!

5 years later and I needed this video today lol I have a travel size of the old spray top, screws right off, and wanted to refill it for traveling next month, had to plier the top off the big bottle. I’m glad I saved the old travel size, cuz the new travel size bottles are the same way now :/ 😮 thanks bath and body works 🙄

That's what I just did!!! I tossed the top too quickly and now I have tape covering the top! LOL But this is a great tip because my sprayer was wonky, plus I needed to fill my atomizer. Thanks for sharing :)

I struggled with pliers getting the top off my bottle so I could fill my FLO atomizer. Good to know I can just melt a hole in the side next time :) That is a good tip! Thanks for sharing :)

THANK YOU! I had a bottle that came broken, I got the reimburment of course because it didn´t work but I didn´t throw it away because I knew one day I´ll have the time to investigate how to transfer the fragance to another bottle and here I am ;) It worked and now my mist didn´t go to waste :)
