When we say we have to have works to be saved we are saying his blood is not sufficient to save us from ALL sin. The scripture you quoted said Christ died ONCE. That is correct. If our works kept us saved, and we sinned, Jesus would have to die again and again and again. Every time we sinned. He died once for ALL of our sins. People - believe on the Lord's death, burial and resurrection and you will be saved.
