Here on 12-28-24, I agree with tommymagnusson, the SOS band is great. It's really sad most singers/bands just don't make great heck, not even good music today. It's rare when someone doesn't take music from the past. Guess I'm showing all my 63 years old. But, it's fantastic that RUclips has this music we all can enjoy.

African here! The geat music, back in my early 20s! Classics were all around those years. Shout out to SOS Band and their smash funky hits, along with the super producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis! Back in the day, no pants down to the knees boys, not a whole lot of 'normalized' vulgar language; nice looks (oh those women!) and clean dishes, no preservatives and 'nasty' takeaways! Take me back!

A época os D'J de hoje eram chamado de discotecário, de sonoplasta , operador de som ou até mesmo disc jockey, pois não existia no Brasil esse termo D'J. que co. Fui D'J (a época -anos 80 o D'J aqui na america do sul éra conhecido como Discotecário, sonoplasta até mesmo disk jokey, pois não existia no Brasil esse termo D'J). Agora, S.O.S band é uma banda dos finais da década de 70 inicio dos anos 80. O que dizer dessa Trupe de grandes músicos e artistas ? Nada, eles dispensam comentários, pois o alcance do sucesso deles fizeram muita diferença no cenario da musica negra. Assim como Koll and Gang, Brass Construction, Zapp (roger), Chic, The Gap Band, dentre inúmeras outras bandas. A musicalidade da S.O.S Band é diferenciada, pois tem o Swing e o peso do Funk com uma mistura do Pop e do Balanço, enfim, são portadores de uma musicalidade que fez a diferença, sucesso da década de 80 que ecoou e eclodiu nos quatros cantos do Planeta. Isso sem contar o talento dos vocais e a a inovação dos sintetizadores e dos metais , e é claro, a beleza e o talento de suas meninas no vocal....Parabenizo toda equipe you tube pelo prazer e oportunidade de relembrar e de ver esse grupo. Parabens You tube!!! Vocês não pode deixar de lado essas referencias artísticas de talentos posteriores, tais como Michael Jackson, Madonna , Usher, dentre dezenas de icones de outros estilos que tem na The Gap Banda a sua referencia musical.
