To be honest I feel like he could've had a more dangerous form than this hear me out, lore wise Jin actually beat his great grandfather without the devil jin right before Jinpachi could be consumed, we obviously know then that Devil Jin could easily do it right. If you lose and give up then the demonic energy takes over Jinpachi and is stated the world was never the same, but what if like he never really fought Jin before getting consumed so he ran into him after he was taken over. I believe as Jin lore wise beat Jinpachi without the Devil Jin then even if he couldn't beat the consumed version then Devil Jin could cause technically... Jinpachi<Jin<Consumed Jinpachi< Devil Jin.
