    The biggest missing pieces are context and rules. You supposed to play more years when plays 60-70 games in a softer league. And you supposed to win more when you plays with 2 top 10 players of of the moment.

    "If things had been different...". True, if things had been different then they would've been... different. What are we saying here? LOL. The reason none of those teams were winners, the reason they didn't seem as great as they were, is because of Chicago and that man. Everybody ate on LeBron's watch, all while jumping teams and shuffling rosters at will. Not only does Jordan have the best story, he has all the stats and accolades to go with it. LeBron is one of the best ever but for some reason people cannot accept the fact that he is not number 1, like that's a bad thing. Such a dumb debate.

    It all depends on what you are using for criteria. However, my criteria is simple: 1) Jordan brought the game globally. He made the world fall in love with basketball. Lebron grew off of a foundation that had already been built. 2) Jordan played 82 games 9 seasons. Lebron only 1x. Jordan believed in giving the fans their money’s worth. Lebron’s longevity is attributed to the fact that some years he played less than 60 games, which gave his body less wear and tear. The two different mentalities of the players cannot be overstated. 3) Jordan elevated his teammates to perform at a higher level than on their own. All of his teammates confirm this. Lebron joined Dwyane Wade in Miami, leaving his own teammates and franchise. D Wade was the real leader in that situation and Jordan would’ve never done that

      i mean there's a different viewpoint of people becoming champions with the bulls, and with lebron. When MJ wins one he'll say the team won it. When lbj wins he takes full cred. When mj loses it he blames himself. When lbj loses it he blames everyone that isn't him.

    lol ur argument "context matters... none of them were champions" XD ...they were not champions' 'coz Bulls were, every time they played in the finals they won! MJ did not need 3point line to average 3x pts/game .. most points any player ever in NBA in era where avrg score were much lower. I guess you young and haven't seen MJ played IRL. He's the lightest player ever to shatter a basket, Jordan never lost 3 games in a row from 1990-1998, I could go on and on but let money talk: in todays money MJ would make ~150mil a season, he's league on his own.... LeBron's i just longevity.

    You analysts, and fanboys, and lemedia people. Say what you want about michael jordan, kobe bryant, larry bird, magic johnson just to make a few . I could go on. Players who have worked hard and developing their game. Lebron your lebalco king blames, has never done that not ounce in his whole career fck that traveling, flopping ignorant selfish, ungoat material. Piece of media I fused piece of shit. And if communist guidelines is mad at me for expressing this then they are on your pee also. I am tired of lying bs. Wich is al I see anymore. Dumb idiots with eyes that don't see.

    Stupid video. Talks context then proceeds to leave out context on how Lebron won his two chips against Warriors and Spurs. Btw, MJ beat the Spurs when he was in Chicago. When he left, the big men won again. The Bulls would beat both the Spurs and GSW. Just because LeBron couldn’t beat them due a lot to his deficiencies as a player, doesn’t meant MJ wouldn’t have. Lebron doesn’t play defense to a high level consistently so how could he beat Duncan or Curry consistently? His system is very flawed so high IQ teams routinely dismantle his teams. MJ’s story is not why he is goat. Nice try. Go look at the footage of their “game”. One is clearly a master while the other is a clumsy bull in a china shop. No comparison and MJ played harder teams. This weak eras top teams would not be top teams in the past era. Look what NJ did to the Spurs before he left Chicago. They were great team for a long time. If Kobe beat the Spurs MJ would have done so too, guaranteed.

    Horrible analysis. First is Malone Barkley etc didn't win chips because theu couldn't beat jordan. If lebron ever had a stretch of dominance many in his era wouldn't have titles. If "not 5 not 6 not 7 " ever came true most of the guys you mentioned wouldn't be Champs. Once jordan got to the top of winning. He owned the championship with pit rival. Total dominance. Two 3 peets. What everyone misses who wasn't there to see it. Mike only truly played 11 seasons. His ownership seasons in Washington don't count. In terms of stat accumulation or awards or chips. He wasn't there for any of that. Just to put some butter in the seats of the team he owned. 3 years retired. Off the couch. 13 years in chicago and he didn't play in 2 of them. 2nd season broken leg. 10th season returned from baseball with 17 games left in season. No stat accumulation no award opportunities and no chemistry or chance to win a chip. In 12 full seasons in Chicago he won 10 scoring titles. Dominance. 4 steals titles. Two 3 peats etc.

      I'm not saying Lebron is better and I don't like to compare them because they're both GOATs of their respective Eras, but there is a lot more context with where the league was at at the time. MJ played in an Era where players can go drink at night and show up the next day for practice. MJ had an advantage because he started incorporating weight training and diet while most of the league was chilling. Lebron's era is more competitive because of sports science, data analytics, etc.

    • @daddyT74
      @daddyT74 День назад

      @peterlawrence7427 I see nothing special about lebrons competition. I see a league that had to change the rule to help them not become victims of what was becoming a defensive strangle hold on the league. Bring back all the old rules today. Today's players have those defensive advantages back. The entire leagues statistics and game is totally different. What would stats have looked like back in the day if the rules of today were applied back then? They would be astronomically higher. This eras talent is an illusion based on a total change of rules. That this generation needed or teams like the 2004 pistons would be dominating the league.

    NBA allowed zone defense too late. Players specialized too much on man vs. man over the years and therefore learned too late the importance of spacing and the three point shot.

    So USA didn’t send their best players right. Let’s say they did, they would score more but I’m not sure they could’ve defended Argentina assuming they have the same short preparation. It was a 13 pt lead end of 3rd and even reached 16.
