Turn the distributor clockwise a few degrees to advance it a bit. Probably could stand a hotter coil for a better spark at cranking speed.

have you tried just spraying starter fluid into the intake? just to make sure it's not the fuel system. Also, have you checked your fuel filter to see if it is clogged?

great update, at long last. where are you moving? it's a shame you had to park it under your friend's trees. your car interior's in great condition. having to replace the transmissions gonna be a bitch, though. was the transmission the reason you had to quit driving it and park it out someplace? what you been driving in the meantime

I owned two of these when I was like 6. They had this one with the doors and hood openable. BUT! Did you guys know there was an alternate one? There was one with gold where the silver is with Tinted windows. Because the windows were tinted they didn’t feel the need to add an interior…which 6 year old me discovered after tearing it apart lol

Pretty sloppy video, quite a few things given incorrect functions and/or names, and the much praised window sticker is for a Montego sedan rather then the Monterey minivan being shown.

Disclosure: I have a 2006 CXL with the Northstar engine. Those engines in the first few years (1996-2004) had poorly designed head bolts that allowed head warp from the heat and coolant leakage into the cylinders. That issue was finally adressed by mid-late 2004 with upgraded factory headbolts but all years are still plauged with gaskets that weep oil (valve covers especially) and motor mounts that go flat abnormally quick since its a heavy front wheel drive V8 engine. Otherwise they are decent engines after 2004.
