Why does this not have more views? I love these models, first found out about their existence when I was 4. They’re so expensive though! Wish I had one of these, even if it had a few missing parts I would still love it!

Didn't Joughin see the ship's doctor looking for alcohol too, when Joughin went down to his cabin to drink? A doctor would know. Didn't Jack Thayer see a man drink a whole bottle of Gordon's Gin just at the beginning of the end: after all the lifeboats had gone, and the bow had dipped under, and a big wave washed up the boat deck; when the Titanic seemed to be moving forward in the water?

James Cameron made this film over again in color but with a love story featuring a Gen-X couple who apparently time traveled from the 1990's.

I just watched the film for the first time today and thought, he was the real hero of the story! What a guy and awesome played!

I love how he did all he could to help with multiple pitstops to his quarters to have some drinks and enjoy himself. I’d have gotten drunk too had I been on the Titanic

Sadly, the actor who portrayed him, George Rose, was murdered in real life.

Missed the best part where he is just tossing chairs into the ocean to give people a chance at staying afloat.

The boats could have been overloaded and still been ok. The sea was calm. The lifeboats were tested with men.

The baker on the titanic is the perfect example of "chaotic good" meaning that getting drunk was "in theory" a selfish thing to do, because the last person you would need in a crisis is a drunk. But!! The baker gave up his seat for someone else, made sure life boats had a few loafs of bread in them and threw deck chairs into the water to help other people. ALL WHILE BEING DRUNK! Chaotic good personified.
