My first game was March 29, 1980, 6 years old at Joe Louis Arena. Red Wings 9, Quebec Nordiques 7. Did not have openings like that 44 years ago. Lucky kids.

I was there. I got seats at the very top, but then I snuck to the very bottom. Best seats of my life. Game went crazy though.
