No one said you aren't allowed to maintain classic cars...
Looks like my mercedes w126 S class. 😂 nothing special to me
I had that, one afternoon and 2 new bushings later, the wobble was gone
Hey! So i'm not new to the car world but definitely new to mechanics aspect of it. I'd say i know the basic anatomy of a car. I'm going to tech school in the fall and I want to start understanding how these things work. So how would something like this wobble be produced?
Worn out steering/suspension components, I don't know if these even used ball joints per se by a modern standard, but whatever has the tolerances has lost the tolerances if you catch my drift. Just worn out. Might be bushings are gone, might be metal has worn to being loose, not sure, you'd have to look up how this suspension and steering is designed but wherever it's connected is where there's ball joints, eyelets, bushings, etc, and that's what has worn out keeping it from being tight. Or the bearings, also, however those are in these Model A's, are worn out too.. which also produce slop
Good advice Wick!
I been trying to fix the headlights on my ford model a truck
Love it it sounds so good
"promosm" 💃
The issue I am having when turning the light switch the headlights flicker, and sometimes only one headlight will light, wiggle the switch to get them both on.
Great tour around the truck!
Great info!
Great info, Wick!
Well done Wick! Original parts work so much better than the repro.
Great video. Indeed very helpful - thanks Wick!
That bolt may not be holding the oil pump, it could just be stuck and can drop out anytime.
Very cool! You've come a long way in the last 4 months!
Nice!...Looking forward to more!
However, if the engine starts this badly, it is obviously not in order. Using it in poor condition will only make matters worse, so it would be best to put it in good condition.
So cool!!!
What length are they?
Either…

The old beast never dies
If this car could talk, it would say something like, "I may be old, but I still got a spring in my step." Long live the Ford Model T.
