Hi Paul I have literally just invested in the Storz Masterpuls One to try and save my hands from constant deep remedial massage. I have found your videos amazing and also watched the seminar recording you did on the Storz platform. I only have this machine right now though and no focused machine obviously due to budget. Is there an online course you can recommend that is worth doing before I begin practising as I feel a little nervous based on the small manual that came with the machine. I have so many questions to ask but no idea where best to go. Many Thanks.Meriel

Hey Paul, in a youtube video titled "talking about the art of shockwave..." you went into more depth on your knee OA protocol. Referencing that, you mentioned 4000 pulses with radial. Is there a certain head you use? Would D20T work? What is the frequency you use? Then you go into 1500 pulses each into the "key holes" of the knee, 2000 pulses in medial aspect of tibial plateau and 500 on lateral aspect. What is the frequency you use? Hey Paul, can you elaborate on what frequency and intensity you have set to for the spine actor, peri-actor, applicator head change for the trigger point release, and the focus shockwave? Also, what stand off would you use for the focus shockwave? And lastly, is using the spine actor and peri-actor heads the same thing as adding radial, but just with that particular head? Just wondering because you said "a combination of the spine actor, peri-actor, change in head for trigger point release, radial, then focus shockwave will make for a very happy patient." Thanks in advance for the help!

I’m a big believer that more is more! EMTT 8000 shots. EPAT 3000 to peroneals and 2000 ESWT to bone and ligament. Get my patient to trusted physical therapist asap to begin ROM and mobility. Purchase a proper phone stand😉

Can I suggest you talk about frequency rather than Hertz? To use an analogy , it’s like having a high PSI in your tyres, rather than high pressure, or increasing the Ohms in your electrical circuit instead of resistance. Just a friendly suggestion!

Q so broken right olecronon after cycling accident 2019 surgery K wire pins then 12 months another surgey removal ,broke at humerus end anothr cycling acident 2021 no surgey alot of systemic inflamation on all occassions ie black blue arm hand massivf macrophageover activation etc . Now dupytrens bad right hand very pronounced and inside left thumb spots of arthritis right hand left thumb and cant quite totally straighten rt arm . So what to ask for the cost of private clinic exorbativf and then could conceivably treat myself with more sessions less energy ,will it break up ganglion type damaged tissue ,can it disrupt bone elbow bone or bone scar tendon tissue and induce bone dissolution and remodelling ?? so i might straighten etc but my main focus is dupytrens first ,emailed Venn sound very reasonable BTL flat no .So if i knew what to ask for rather than be fobbed off with device cant touch it .Would be really helpfull

HELP bad dupytrens thinking focussed shockwave could be usefull contacted Venn ,spoken with physio problem its not currently used by NHS for this ,so Stotz seems best choice can't afford iether clinical or purchase ,I'm trying to borrow ask them to loan me what would you suggest. The problem is tight dysregulated collagen matrix formx very tough pads or nodules and chords the body sees theses as damaged areas and then they seed more de railed healing more clumping and so on ,1st thing needs to happen is massive disruption on the scale of tissue ablation could I or patient bear this what settings pulse energy what type of applicator etc needs focussed first to do this the move to radial massage might then allow broken down cells to be carried by lymph blood out and stimulatory radial might then encourage healing of aligned collagen in theory it makes sense if these companies start to loan tl resp private individuals at lower cost and or in return for greater promotion ie sales ,all hospital debts should be using these and other therapeutic devices instead we have leave it and then operate etc or massive surgery pins where SW would encourage reformation of bone ,it like electro micro current EMTT devic e all stimulate healing up regulating signal to noise ratio .
