My last PB was a 1:49.9. Major improvements. I still lost quite a bit of MPH at the end of carousal. Thanks to @esuttoneric for the coaching. He helped me identify where I need to work.

72.072 Couldve been in the low 71s if I didnt hit a cone SC3 took a while to warm up and a few spots I shouldnt have braked so much.

I hate how GM did not line up the hole so the tow hook can go thru the grill instead of taking that section out and leaving a gap. I am thinking about getting a heat gun and warming up the top section so it will bent up just enough to allow the bolt to go in. What do you think?

yea, you have to. The wind buffeting is terrible with the PDR.
Great, straight to the point video man! I just traded my Jeep for a 2020 GT PP1 and I was leaning towards the Corsa Xtreme, love the sound. But after hearing this, the S type has moved to the top of my list. Sounds great and headers will give it that “exotic” sound down the line without being bonkers loud.
Finally a vid on what makes it tick. I'm going to put my tow hook on tomorrow.
Shouldn’t it come with the tow rope when you purchase government motors junk?
It comes with a black towing rod in the trunk. I wanted something more visible in case im on the track and the tow truck needs to be able to find it asap. It also gives it contrast to the car.

Nice, appreciate the upload brother. I was trying to install a tow hook license plate bracket earlier today (since of course VA is one of the dumb states that requires it) and did not spot those clips. Had no idea that piece came off!

I just installed my S type today with Active exhaust and it is perfect. I found the ATAK to be too much, the S type is just right, in quiet mode it pretty much goes away at cruise and in track mode it has plenty of personality and gets loud AF when you really lay the sauce to it. :)
After 4k rpms it gets really loud. A nice loud though.

I'm contemplating between the s-type and the ataks, the active exhaust option
Get Ataks if you can get active since you can quiet it down. I think for people without the active option, the s-type is the perfect volume.
@@SpencerLeJeune that makes sense except that I have seen way too many people who are selling their ataks even with the active option. I think the ataks might just be too loud for most people. At present the s types are my top but I will wait to see at least one of them in person before pulling the trigger. Appreciate your feedback.

I have the ataks. I got a video of a cold start and a pull. It's not that loud other than the cold starts.
I wish I could hear this system with long tube headers, you have any plans for that?
Not at the moment since I autocross the car in F street and I wouldnt be able to do that mod to stay in that class. Theres a few videos out there with the atak version w/ headers to give you an idea.
I decided to go with a Borla exhaust system for my 2010 Ford Taurus SHO AWD 3.5L Twin Turbo (one of the first 3.5L EcoBoosts) after this video. Maybe we can race and compare exhaust tones at full throttle... at a closed track of course. Keep up the uploads Spensar! 👍
