I do the middle finger too. I find that I have more control that way.
Deez
yo thanks ive seen tutorials with the ring or middle finger, but the index is totally the best
I have a situation that happened during a tournament: Two players go all in on the turn. One shows Ace high flush and the other has also a lower flush, but with a gutshot straight flush draw, no full house or quads possible. Problem is, the dealer fumbles the remaining deck into the muck before he's able to deal the river card. What is floor supposed to do?
Proper poker etiquette is to keep the burn stack separate from cards that players have folded.
I'm the nuts
My audition was 40 mins but I did walk in without any dealing or classes. I passed 20 years of playing poker has advantages
awesome ending
Wouldn't an ace high flush be the nuts for that board? Or am I trippin?
ace high isn’t possible because there’s no king, queen, or ace on the board
Also you need 5 of the same suit which isn’t possible on this table
No wash?
I wish the players at my tables would watch this, especially the "don't be subtle", with that exact intonation 😅
What state?
so underrated I love your videos !!!
These videos are amazing can we get some more please
How much should we tip on a 500 dollar pot 250 eff.
If I forget if I tipped or not I’ll ask. If the dealer says yes I tip them again. If you gotta ask then you gotta tip again! If they say no I double their tip. And I tell them the second one is for forgetting.
Would like to add: Rake and Drop are not synonymous. A drop happens when the flop comes regardless of pot size. A rake is taken based on pot size. Drops were made popular in West Coast poker games. And the idea that a drop would be taken regardless of pot size created the "wanna chop the blinds" scenario that people seem to think is an etiquette thing. <3 Love your channel.
Over 20 years of poker and I never learned to put the tip on top of the cards.
My college home game had 3 dealers by the end of the year because it’s more profitable than playing
Pass your Comptia A+ and become a IT help desk remote job

Did you do the "3 Reasons Not To" video?
Shuffling cards into a new career - intriguing choice!
i do the middle finger
thanks with your tutorial I got it instantly
was it a full time job? Like could you work 40 or more hours per week if you wanted to?
What happens if they show a neighbor
Its cheating
@spec404 That's not in the hand sry
Wish I could deal poker. Learned to deal poker at school and was certified. However, in the AC/Philly market, if you don’t have any experience in the casino industry at all, it is very difficult to get a job dealing poker. Currently a table games dealer 3 1/2 months in.
So what happens after someone string bet? They forfeit thier hand?
The first amount is the bet
Where's the best room to deal poker?
I'm in Austin, Texas and it's great. I've heard Dallas is slightly better though.
If you announce a raise, are you allowed to string bet?
Are you still dealing?
What about premature turn
Same thing.
Accurate. The amount of times the players would ask if they tipped me and of course I do say "Yes, thank you" when they haven't does make it very awkward. Sometimes another player (usually regulars) would remind them or tell them they didn't
Some of my favorite dealers reply, "I'm not sure" in a naturally lighthearted and friendly tone when they know damned good and well the player didn't tip them. By telling them "yes you tipped" you're letting them get away with the whole "it's the thought that counts" thing.
Thanks for the content! I recently graduated and have been auditioning throughout south Florida. It’s been a little rough right now to get auditions bc we’re out of season. However I have passed 1 audition and looking forward to starting a new career
Dealing but with white powder
I’ve worked in a casino as security and dealers in casino would use Snow White like crazy.
You like 🥜 that bad bro ?
Dude i didn't understand anyof this but go nuts man
Poker dealer here. It depends on what season and what kind of room you work in. Most of my income is from tournaments not tips since I deal seasonally during tournament series. For example, during a WPT, about 13% of my income was tips and the other 87% was from tournament downs and base pay.
What city did you deal in? Where's the best cities to deal?
I splash the pot whenever the fuk I want
gotta splash the pot to strengthen your bluff lol
I Veel splash thee pot winever. I. Vaant.
I'll just stick to online poker 😅
Teddy splashed the pot, not string bet.
During the final poker scene there's a part where he's monologing and bets like 3 or 4 different times in a row while he's speaking to add emphasis to his words
@@brianlavalley3983 Oh yeah that’s right! “ l .. bet.. it.. all…” Thank you. Funny how nobody making the film caught and corrected that😆
I'll always announce the bet. Then call the floor.
what
Teddy only does that when he's ready to stick it in you
The casino I work at they don’t allow us dealers to call string. It has to be one of the players
That's crazy
Casino I was playing at call me for string betting for not dropping the chip in my hand at the same time. The delay was like a microsecond.
I didnt get it at first but then i realized oh shit thats actually so scummy
Most of the time it's accidental from inexperienced players. But if the guy verbally calls out his raise of $100, pushes in $50 and then goes back for the rest it's not considered string betting.
No it's not. It's the most core part of the game
Dude you’re awesome please keep the shorts coming! Love your content.
