I often find myself lacking the proper tool to do things with rocks. So I'm constantly on the lookout for cheap ways to get similar results or trying find another way of doing things.
I recently got a hold of some thunder eggs from a guy named Josh from www.youtube.com/@ocklawahaboyrocks and was so desperate to open a few of them that I decided to give the Dremel a try. Was it the best method? Far from it. But it was much better than a hammer and was still a lot of fun to open up some fascinating thunder eggs - or thundereggs (I'm too lazy to verify the proper spelling).
