honestly i think you shouldn't code in a tp to box, those who want to play fair will those who don't won't so it would be easier to just let people play how they want. As for the spawner i say keep it in, there's a bunch of ways one could use it and it makes the game even more unique. For your spawner i vote either pigs for food, or axolotl for adorable. I also have an Atreevement idea, make aquariums for your axolotl and tropical fish (sperate ones because the axolotl will eat the fish)

keeping the spawner and game settings as is will make this still a challenge with endless possibilities some like cutting corners and some limit themselves more. If there was a screen with settings like the toggle you mentioned might be ideal for those that might not know how to edit the code but do want to customize their experience if possible, whatever is honestly easier or maybe an eventual update!

Answering your questions: Yes for keeping the spawner. While it can be gamed, I think that the odds of getting multiple are very low and you would need to use spawn eggs to change the items. However, the combo of spawn eggs and spawner could be useful for getting lots of breedable mob farms up and running, which could be OP, but which could also make some adventures in the box easier, while others would be harder. Also, I would say adding a teleport logic/command into the code that would teleport you back into the box (at whatever the closest box coords are) would make sense. Depending on the size of the box, it could allow you to have a little nether hub allowing you to move around the box faster, plus it would allow you to build a portal if you get lost in the nether in order to get back to the box instead of leaving you stranded. Congrats on a great episode. Looking forward to the next one.

I don't think you should bother coding cheese prevention. If people want to play the challenge properly, they will. If they want to cheese, they will. On the other hand, someone playing with cheat commands off might accidentally leave the box and not be able to get back in. Maybe make it a toggle option, so if you do get stuck outside the box, you can go to the inventory screen and push the toggle (or just a "teleport to box" button instead of toggle) to get teleported back to the box from anywhere in the overworld. Yeah, someone is gonna abuse it. But if that's what they consider fun, then hey, they are still having fun with your pack.

if you were to add the feature of if you end up in the overworld it tps you back into the box it should be a toggle on/off option. perhaps do the same with the spawner block, perhaps have it part of a toggle OP creative items on or off? as for the spawner you got, keep it and make it a pig spawner for food

having watched further, i personally don't think that you should change the potential nether shenanigans or remove the mob spawner. trying to prevent everything that could be abused is 1) a never ending effort, and 2) can easily lead to removing things that could be a lot of fun. for example, i could see people wanting to play with their end goal being to escape the box, so having a 'legit' way that it's possible is fine imo. i'm not sure about how feasible it is, but maybe making it so the box gifts would only happen within the confines of the box (through dimensions still would be cool, but within the related coordinates in the nether, if that makes sense) would keep the incentive to stay in the box? and while the spawners could be used for shenanigans, they could also be really cool. like, for your world, putting the glow squid or axolotl egg in there could add a lot to the water areas! that just sounds so fun to me.

I say you should keep the spawner it can be useful even if its just decoration like making your own little dungeon. For thr future i believe if you relog while the zombified piglins are after you they should stop. Fantastic episode and great work! I hope you take the time you need to make the quality you want! Also the portal i say keep as is and i like the idea of the teleporting back to the box. Last thing Im proud of you for staying alive all episode!

Lovely video! I had a hunch a ghast would pop the portal 😂😂 and ziglins def take forever to de-agro… I think they can hit you in your farm setup because they pop up a little when you hit them. Maybe a slab higher and they wouldn’t? But there are better farms for sure. As for the spawner… I like the idea of less consequential mobs, and not things you can build farms for or have to adventure for. Immediately I’m thinking putting the axolotl egg in it, would be fun! Since they despawn naturally and don’t really add an item or change combat so much, plus they’d look cute swimming around your river 🤷‍♂️ squid is a good idea you had too. If you can’t find a fortress close by and it takes an absurd amount of time to get to; maybe a blaze spawner farm would be ok, but if you could build an ice boat highway then it seems too op. You might also want to consider what you wouldn’t mind a potential over abundance of… like tropical fish or rabbits en mass could be fun, but 50 llamas or 100 enderman moving all your blocks randomly 😅😂😂

Love the video and i love all of what you do. You make such funny content and i am proud to be here and watch this all happen. I would like to say that i think you should keep the spawner although some may abuse it i believe that it is up to the person themselves to decide if they want to use it or not also i would also like to say that you shouldn't make anything to stop someone from leaving the box because as i said before it is up to the person on where or not to. Besides all that i would like to say that you should use the spawner for squids or a mob that doesn't spawn in you biome also i would like to ask if you could name one of the chickens Kernel Sanders and have them be the general for chick-peas army it would be awesome.

You can get bonemeal using organic matter like saplings and stuff after your first two logs because you need 7 wooden slabs for a composer

Awesome! The only issue I see is, there would be nothing stopping people from making another portal elsewhere in the Nether and escaping into the overworld to fill up on resources or escape the box. Was this intentional? Or an oversight? Either way, keep up the great content!

To give you some more peace of mind, neither of a mounted mob despawns, regardless of what despawn rules say. So sticking a mob in a boat will never despwan. That's why you can see skyblock players put a zombie villager in a boat under a roof so it doesn't catch on fire and then the player walk away.

You have a very nice voice. It would be perfect for narration, especially horror stuff.

A-tree-vement! Have a little record spot since you have so many have like a place to display with a jukebox in the middle! Maybe as the tree grows it’s integrated in the middle like a hollow part of the tree or a separate building

ooh, nice job getting the nametag for chick-pea! the box really decided that you should have some animal friends today. and the river cobb adds a lot of life to the box! an idea for the atreevement, not an achievement, but for the tree itself- you said you planned on expanding it, it could be cool if it had new branches based on each type of sapling you have/get. then as well as written achievements, it's also a visual of achieving new saplings and tree types to use. also i'm not sure if you know already, but you can bonemeal the pink petals you got to create more, similar to two-tall flowers!
