Highlights of 2024 Moab Hard Enduro Qualifier. It was a quick but super fun qualifier, ended up qualifying 2nd in A class for the main race on Sunday.

Moab Hard Enduro Sunday Race. I qualified 2nd in the A class on day one, and about 3 miles in on the first PRO/A split I broke a chain and was not able to finish the race.

After lots of mistakes and mechanical issues in race 1, I started on row 5 for race 2. Thanks to @ShercoUSAOfficial for hooking me up with parts, and @SmartCarbFuelSystems for helping me with my carb. I was able to complete race 2, just barely missing race 3 by 2 positions. About 2/3 of the way through the lap I cut my hand open, and after the race needed 8 stitches.

This is a very small portion of the Silver Kings Hard Enduro Race 2023. Most of the riders are A Class riders in the video. You can get a good perspective of how steep the ravine is when the camera angle is looking down the canyon. Enjoy!

Nice mate What made you start running such large bar risers ?
@@enduro-parts-aus Sherco riding triangle stock runs way smaller than other bike brands. I’m 6’4 so tall bars and lowered foot pegs make the bike the most comfortable to ride
The Sherco frames run a little small compared to other brands. I am 6'4" so lowered pegs and tall bars help the most with my lower back in long races
Nice job. Great time considering you weren't first out of the enduro cross start and the amount of riders holding you up.
Sweet passes. Using the other bikes front tire for traction on the slope was righteous.

@@DevinStephenson15 OK, so that leads me to the next question. What was your jetting? I live in the area, have a 23' and am testing both the SC2 and Keihin. SC2 is on it now.
@@marcusm.3486 I'm pretty sure on that bike I was running 42-170 for kellog. My new bike has the SC2 which in my opinion is a better carb in everyway
@@DevinStephenson15 Yea, this is the 2nd bike this SC2 has been on. I agree, it's damn near perfect but in my opinion it lacks just a tiny bit on the bottom end. Something that's more noticeable for someone like me who's 200lbs before gear. I need every ounce of torque I can get on the steep, gnarly stuff lol.

race starts in the middle of kellog idaho. plenty of options when it comes to places to stay and eat

yeah i gotta start wearing a chest mount or pack mount, run the IRC JX8 for hard enduro
