Another FYI: In Great Britain, a condemned prisoner spent no more than 3 Sundays from sentencing until execution. My mother's faith is similar to the Jewish faith, in that boys had to be circumcised. That being said, mine was done when I was a baby, by a doctor, at the hospital. I'm glad it was done that way. My mother told me stories about some boys whose parent didn't have it done when they were babies, but had it done as little boys (ages 5-10). That is barbaric.

As an FYI, executions in Mississippi took place in the State Penitentiary in Parchman, a prison farm. First by hanging until 1940; electric chair until 1952; gas chamber until 1998 and now lethal injection.
