What things can you do with the arturia beatstep and the firmware pajen?
you can assign the upper eight pads the mute (cc 58) and the lower eight the reverse (cc 56) and the two knobs for each pad the upper one hi cut (cc 42) the one below level (cc 7) you must assign each pad with its midi channel from 1 to 8. all this must be assigned in the arturia central midi software.

Are you running a custom firmware on the Volca? Can you play samples chormatically too ?
i'm using unofficial pajen 7 firmware, you can use each midi channel chromatically 👌
you can also assign the mute and reverse to each midi channel, I leave you a video where I do it ruclips.net/video/yuHVUk0MZBs/видео.html
@@gsoul14 I have unfortunately the Sample 2, so no Pajen for me . I could do the same thing only buying the RK-002 smart midi cable apparently. :(
@@gsoul14 Let me ask you, do you think is possible to use the beatstep to sequence from the Volca even without the custom firmware? I wonder what's the use of the midi in in the Sample otherwise. 🤔
@@AlexTarion I think you can but not chromatically, each beatstep knob would be each channel of the volca sample, you will not be able to modify the pitch or play in unison on each sound. Anyway, I don't know the volca sample 2 and I've never tried it. Greetings to you!

Con cual debería empezar en esta linea de VOLCAS ? ya tengo otros dispositivos pero esto es adictivo ya sabes. Que consejo me darías para empezar con estos volca que ya usas tu.
hace poco adquirí la volca drum y me gustó mucho por que es más experimental, es un sintetizador de batería, la volca sample 1 me gusta recomendar por su facilidad para controlarlo con algún controlador midi, con la actualización firmware pajen 7.
Hola... soy nuevo en esto que tu haces,e visto videos tuyos y me llama la atención los VOLCA suena interesante. hace unos días integre a mi live-set dos cajas de behringer (RD-6 y TD-3 ) pero me gustaría integrar también VOLCAS.
